Thanks to Chris F. for sharing this one at mrbubbler's tasting.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, honey, fruit, and floral aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, honey, and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a high level of carbonation with a crisp and prickly mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty, but has way too much carbonation that diminishes its drinkability in my opinion.
Serving type: bottle.

Opened at 4/20 tasting.
Pours orange-yellow color, nice white head.
Smells of estery bananas and pears, light funk.
Tastes of flowers, hay, pear, booze, some sweetness.
Mouthfeel is okay but too hot, alochol is too apparent.
Decent beer overall, definitely the weakest Block 15 I've had. Smells better than it tastes.

750mL bottle from brewery. 20 case release from the cellar stash. Served in tulip. Dry hopped Belgian Golden Strong.
A: Pours a very cloudy straw color with an excellent half inch head. Has some fingers to the glass.
N: Clear scents of pineapple and cane sugar. Biscuity nature with an overture of pine. Leans to the tropical from the dry hopping.
T: Very biscuity and yeasty. Some pine and mango, but the golden strong is the major component. Pineapple after this lingers. I don’t know that this combination works. Too sweet and almost cloying.
M: Sticky, medium mouthfeel. Alcohol makes its presence known.
O: Discordant is how I’d describe this. Drinkable enough, but not worthy of coveting. Just not a great combination of ideas, unfortunately.
