First had: on tap at their brewpub
Poured a slightly cloudy neutral brown color, with a small off-white head that receded almost completely. Aroma was grainy (thanks to the toasted hemp seeds), nutty, woody. Taste followed the aroma: toasted bread and grains, nuts, wet wood, light caramel, and obvious British yeast, with a touch of spice. Medium-bodied, a little thin in the mouth, which is how I feel about most brown ales. Nothing special, but still pretty nice.
