"A long day of work deserves a great pint of beer. Our pale ale is brewed in the classic Northwest Style. Medium bodied, crisp, medium bitterness, and exclusively hopped with Amarillo. 34 IBU's, 5.5% alc/vol"

Taster at brewery. Medium golden pour, ring of white head. Malty, Dank aroma, musty. Taste is more malty, caramel flavors with a dry bitterness to finish

on-tap @ Belmont Station.
from notes.
Dark golden with a thick, foamy white head.
Citric, floral nose and palate. Balanced with a light, pale malt backbone.
Medium body, foamy carbonation, with a dry finish.
Nothing that necessarily sets it apart from the thousands of other pale ales out there, but nonetheless a delicious, well done example.

On tap at Block 15.
A - Served an almost clear, dark orange with a thinner eggshell yellow head. The head fades down but not all the way and leaves tons on solid lacing on the glass.
S - Sweet citrus, almost soapy.
T - Similar to the smell. Sweet oranges mostly.
D - Lighter body with good carbonation. Pretty sweet and no bitterness at all.
O - Light, sweet, and citrusy.

On tap @ Block 15 Brewery & Restaurant (Corvallis, OR) on 8/29/11. Served in a pint glass.
Pours a clear coppery gold, topped with a ½ finger of bright-white head. This retains with some foamy edges, and then some thinner wisps in the center, leaving back a moderate amount of sticky lacing that clings to the sides of the glass. The aroma smells floral, with a LOT of earthy fruitiness, which is strengthened by the sweetness of the malts. A touch of spiciness jazzes up the nose just a bit.
The taste is bitter citrus up front, before blooming out into a softer fruitiness that melds with the grainy sweetness of the malts. The finish is dry and bitter, with some additional weird fruit flavors going on, and then finally a light toastiness that lingers. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a firm crispness the whole way through to the swallow. The overall quenching feel of this really helps out with that strong finish.
This was a bit of a mixed bag for an APA, with some softer malt and fruit character but then the more aggressive aspects of the hops really came on strong at times (especially in the finish). The mouthfeel honestly saved this for me, as it was able to get just enough crispness out of the flavor profile to keep things tolerable. This was OK but not one that I would have a second glass of.

Pours a golden pint with a receding white head. Good aromas or orange, pine, and tangerine. Nice thirst quencing pint with a light body and crisp finish. This pale ale is a bit hoppier than most which I like. While it doesnt blow me away (as most Pale Ales do not) it does show a good example of an after work beer for craft brew lovers.

Wonder why there's a hop shortage in America? Apparently it's because all the Amarillos on the planet ended up in this pale American ale. Print Master, named for the historic business that once occupied Block 15, is aggressively over-bittered for a pale ale yet has only a light grainy aroma to show for it. The bittering accents the beer's innate cereal graininess to create a very dry ale with a taste not unlike some wheat or rye beers. In fact, a wedge of lemon wouldn't seem out of place here at all.
The beer has a yellow-oak unfiltered body with moderate carbonation. Its mouthfeel is taunted by a frail astringency.
Not suited to my tastes as a pale ale though its dry, lemon-rind qualities make a refreshing thirst quencher.
