This review is for the Pro-Am Dark Belgian Strong.
This pours the color of raisin cherry puree. No foam.
Light aroma with a Belgian-y yeasty ester backing some raisin and stone fruits. Flavor is stone fruit forward, with candied cherries, plums and figs giving it some complexity and character. Wish it stood out more but as it stands it’s a perfectible acceptable expression of the style.

On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a ring of foam around the edges of the glass. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, brown sugar, caramel, toffee, fruits, yeast, and spices. Taste is much the same with an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that smells better than it tastes in my opinion.
