From a 22.4oz bottle with a best before date of NOV. 12

Pours a cloudy dark straw yellow/orange color with a huge frothy three finger almost white head that is very slow to recede. Smells of lemons and peaches supported by mild malts comprise the nose. First sip is super sweet malts that is followed by welcomed spice notes, citrus, and mild hops. The tastes finishes bitter. Mouthfeel is excellent as it is slightly over carbonated but not close to being a fault. The 7% ABV works well.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright hay color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of semi-sweet Belgian-style malt with some weird floral hoppy notes. Taste is also dominated by semi-sweet Belgian-style malt with some weird dominant hops notes with some fruity flavours and some weird herbal notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not sure that herbal and lemony notes form the hops is a great addition to this beer.

I scored this 330ml bottle at the brewery itself during an early October visit with Brabander. Cost was in the €2.00-2.50 range. Label says best by May 2014.

Poured all, save about 1oz of yeasties, into a small DT tulip. It is a bright, clear, medium-golden color, and has some scattered, slow-moving carbo. Head is wispy, thin and white, with only a touch of lacing. Smells lightly sweet and a bit fruity, as in apricots or tangerines. Has a good feel, mostly medium and fairly smooth.

Flavor is only a touch sweet, with light citrus fruit present before heading into pithy, bitterness. It's really rindy and a smidge on the harsh side, imo. A decent brew but not a keeper. Prosit!!

Looks orange with a beige, sticky head.
Smell of caramel and candy sugar. A bit of apricot or peach, citrus. Faint smell of pine as well. Cut grass. Fresh. I'm expecting sweetness.
Taste is indeed pretty sweet, but there's a good deal of hop bitterness also.
This beer has a very quick and clean finish. It's almost light, but even at 7% the alcohol is well covered.

Overall it's a good product. Not as full flavoured or complex as some ipa's i've tasted, but it's a decent drink.

A Belgian IPA sounds good to me. The beer pours an orange color with a quick settling head.

Smell is not too strong. Faint hoppy smells with a nice, but reduced, flowery and fruity yeast. Maybe some coriander, or this must be the Chouffe strain, which produces these flavors.

Taste is nicely balanced. The bitterness is spot on and combines nicely with the light hoppy taste. The hops taste European and have a spicy and bit resiny taste. The yeast character is more pronounced than in the smell, but it's still mild. The fruity taste combines well with the beers hoppy taste.
Further down the glass, the bitterness develops into a bit more bitter, bit the balance remains perfect. A great brew, without being extreme or aiming at something American for that matter, this is a solid example of a Belgian inspired IPA.

22.4 ounce bottle - $9.99 at Hop City in Atlanta, Georgia. Best Before End: Nov 2012.

Appearance: Heavily clouded, orange-golden body with a foaming, rocky, off-white head. The bottle was not exactly a gusher, but, still, there was a steady surging foam over-flowing the bottle.

Smell: Hard butterscotch candies, malted wheat, a generous dusting of blood orange-flavored drink powder, and dried pine sap with a firm, fragrant backing of menthol-like florals.

Taste: Butterscotch brushed bready malts and straw-hinting wheat malt, though it's never overly sweet, as the spicy hops, resins, orangesque citrus character, alcohol, mentho-lyptus phenols and a rubber band snap of carbonation balance things out. Medium-plus bitterness. Moderate acidity. More alcohol, fruit, and now some black peppercorn on the back half. Drying, zesty, foamy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. High carbonation. Slightly oily texture to the mouthfeel.

Overall: Extra Ordinaire? I dunno. It's Extra Something, alright.

Picked this up at the Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar after an awesome brewery tour. Cloudy copper-amber pour with a one finger pure white head with nice retention and great lacing. Very pleasant and unique fruity nose with hints of caramel, butterscotch, bread and tangerine. The taste is unique as well, especially for the style. Great balance between the flowery hops and the sweet caramel malt. Hints of tangerines, white pepper, pine, and a touch of Brett. Very creamy yet tangy mouthfeel with a smooth, ever so slightly bitter finish. Another great beer from De Dochter!

22oz bottle (best before 11/2012) into a tulip.

A bit of a gusher uopon popping the cap... Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber w/ a rich fluffy creamy head, ample carbonation.

Aroma is spicy Belgian yeast, tropical fruity sweet caramel malt, butterscotch.

Taste follows nose: sweet candi sugar, caramel, butterscotch, mandarin orange, spice, & a hint of yeasty funk.

Mouthfeel is creamy but also seems a little flat and dull.

Overall an interesting, pretty complex beer that I enjoyed despite a few setbacks.

Cloudy gold, white head with good lacing, yeasties at the bottom.

Smells bready with some sweet fruits, sweet sugar

Tastes of citrus hops. Sweet fruits, a bit of bitterness on the end. So balanced though. Citrus is the dominant flavor. some pepper.

Mid - low carbonation, mouthfeel of citrus bitterness lingers for a while

This is a great belgian IPA. Probably the best one I've had actually. I wasn't overly in love with the normal Noblesse, but this is perfect.

Look: pours an golden-amber color with a white head
Smell: grain malts, with some pine and floral hops
Taste: sweet malts and fruity (orange, peach) with some bitter hops in the aftertaste. Tastes a bit like sugar is added to this brew.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation, medium mouthfeel
Overall: too sweet for an IPA and I miss the balance in this beer

a rather hopped Belgian blond style beer that had that nice foamy presence when popped. of slow lurking head coming out of the bottle. quite a distinct Belgian carbonation at first that dissipates as you drink it. a bit cloudy sediment with a head of three fingers. orange blossom with the dingy amber brown sub tones of the murky in the beer. nose definitely of centennial hopping and pine forest brisk with a pineapple fruit that becomes more pronounced on the palate. beer is quite dry and herbal floral and has a nice mild sweetness and breadiness. dry rosemary, thyme earthy and a subtle black pepper with bitter mesh well with the fruit. a great beer.
