Had a chance to drop in on Grpevine today on my drive down fom Charlotte.
As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Dave, the proprietor, with a warm welcolme. Deprite having a rather busy bar scene, Dave was able to check back on me several times during my visit, offering me samples of his draft selection and helping to navigate the local beer selection.
Overall, GREAT customer service, a really nice tap/growler lineup, wonderful local and domestic craft selection, and the ability to drink all beers on premise. Oh yeah... Wine too!
Thanks to Dave for a great visit and for really nice conversation.

The grapevine is a small relaxing wine bar/beer bar that is in a small shopping center/neighborhood. The place is very quiet and inviting, the employees were just outstanding to talk to and serve you. They have about 12 taps, about 25 bottles for immediate purchase and have another 100 beers available for sale along with bottles of wine too. It is a nice place to go to and have a relaxing beer after work or meet people out. They have about 8 spots at the bar area and tables out in front of the store too. They did offer small appetizers and cheese offerings for sale too, although we did not try any. Their prices were reasonable too.

Grapevine is a great place to meet friends or family for a beer. They have an excellent variety of beers. The staff is very smart and very helpful. If you are looking for anything wild or out of the ordinary, you need to check here. Dave, the owner, is an outstanding beerman. He knows his wine too. Whenever something new or exciting comes out, grapevine is sure to have it. Their growlers to go are top notch. They carry anything from dogfish to sam adams, to pabst blue ribbon. The food their is very good. They can pair you up with the style of beer you are drinking.

I first stopped in this place last January after reading a story in the local paper about growlers. I was just starting to babble in the craft beer scene. The owner Dave is a super nice guy always willing to help or just offer good conversation. He reffered me to BA which helped me out a great deal. Marie is the sweet lady who works during the day. She is always a fun person to talk with. Alex is cool dude who knows his stuff. Im not familiar with the folks who work at night but every time I go in, they are always super friendly. The place has a good selection of beer and wine. I always find something to pick up along with me growler fills. The atmosphere is laid back and they play good music. They also do a beer fest in March called Beertopia. Definitly worth checking out.

Grapevine is a great addition to the Fort Mill, SC area. I would say they have the best selection of beer in Fort Mill. It is more focused on Wine than beer but they still pay large attention to what they have for beer.
They have a growler refilling station with about 8-10 (?) taps that they rotate very frequently so there is something different just about every time you stop in there.
The owner is very knowledgeable on beer and wine and is also very friendly. The employees are all friendly and for the most part they seem to know quite a bit more than you would expect although some are more of wine people being that is mainly a Wine store.
I will definitely be stopping by often, for the growler refilling station if nothing else. Top notch place.

I have been to the Grapevine and made a few purchases in the past and have always dealt with Alex who has always been great to talk to and is very educated when it comes to good beer. Today I stopped in and met the owner David for the first time. Super nice guy who seemed more like a regular BA not someone trying to sell me a beer. We talked about a few types and he made some suggestions. The growler station always seems to have 2 or 3 great beers ready to flow. I live about 45 minutes away but my work takes me this way quite often so I see myself becoming more of a regular. As far as selection I seem to always pick up something here that I can't find a few miles across the boarder in N.C. While there today in stock was D.O.R.I.S., Black Ops, Barrel Aged B.O.R.I.S., Expresso Yeti, Ten Fidy on tap and many more! All around great place to pick up some great beers to go or just grab a pint to drink there and have some great conversation.

Located in the Baxter Village Shopping center in Fort Mill, SC (about 10 minutes south of Charlotte). This is a beer/wine store, the emphasis seems to be on wine, but they do have a semi-respectable beer selection. They also have a growler fill station with some great offerings, and a tasting bar.
The owner, Dave, is a terrific guy and seems to know his stuff when it comes to beer. Very nice atmosphere and a dedication to customer service that is hard to find.
I think the pricing is a little higher than most places but not overwhelmingly so. Overall a nice place to look if your usual place doesn't have what you are looking for.

My buddy and I stopped in for the first time yesterday. We were greeted by the owner who is extremely knowledgeable about beer and obviously very passionate about it. I was glad to see they carry Southern Tier which I haven't had since I left Ohio. The growler station is clutch and the draft beer selection is all top notch stuff. I was given a sample of Foothills DIPA which I had not had before. I then enjoyed a glass of '08 vintage Founders Imperial Stout...outstanding. I will definitely be going back soon.

I finally made the 20 mile drive to Grapevine and was thoroughly impressed. Not only do they have an awesome beer selection, but the overall atmosphere lends well to enjoying an ice cold double ipa.
This will definitely be my growler refill place of choice based on the selection, pricing, and excellent customer service! Pretty good selection of beers that changes frequently.
This trip I was lucky enough to get two growlers that I can't wait to open: Stone Double Bastard Ale and Dorado Double IPA. I also had the pleasure of sampling the Victory at Sea as well.

I made the trip down to Grapevine while visiting inlaws who live in Indian Trail, NC. The place wasn't too hard to find. I got their early afternoon and was immediately greeted by a very nice lady. She admitted she was more of a wine person and had limited knowledge on the beer selection. However, she was willing to help me out. The selection isn't large by any means but there is a nice selection of styles for sale. The also offer a bar to try out a few beers and wine. I didn't try anything there as I was in a hurry.
Overall, I was impressed by the willingness of the people there. The beer selection though was decent. If you are on your way through the area they are located relatively close to I-77 so it is an easy stop. Stop in, you'll be surprised by what might find.
