This is a Taco Mac franchise (no brewniversity). Don't let this dump set your expectations of what the rest of these locations have to offer. I've been to almost all Taco Mac's and I'm surprised Taco Mac let's this place operate with their name. A complete disappointment.
Atmosphere- The bar is basically a smoking chamber. It's enclosed from the rest of the tables. Smoking is allowed here. There was a mix of country and pop music playing on the speakers above. The crowd in the bar when I arrived at 5pm on a weekday were doing shots and I only saw the bar tender pour macro brews during my stay. Couple of small TV's mounted around with ESPN on.
Quality- This location is in a oddly built small shopping center. There isn't much walkway in front of the store-front's and there are no awnings rails, benches etc. Just flat glass with a couple of doors, nothing inviting. I was skeptical I was even going into the right door as the whole complex windows are tinted with very little signage. The bathrooms were pretty dirty and just a wreck overall. Reminded me of a small gas station. Being local to Sweetwater, I drink more of it than anything else.. but ordering one here was a mistake. It was completely flat and was the worst pour of it I've ever had. I didn't even bother to complain as I wanted out of this place asap.
Service- Two bar tenders wearing miller lite shirts didn't pay me much attention initially. I wasn't offered a drink or food menu after greeting the bar tender. After asking for a beer list I reviewed it. Some beers weren't titled, for instance Southern Tier's offering only described an imperial IPA. I ordered that and they were out of it. I didn't see anything that peaked my interest so I went with my staple, Sweetwater IPA (which was flat). After ordering my beer it was placed onto a Kenny Chesney coaster.
Selection- The beer selection looked decent. Maybe 30 taps or so. However given this remote location I'd be worried how often they go through kegs of craft beer after seeing how much macro brew they were pouring. I don't recall seeing pricing on the beer list either.
Food- The food menu was a spin off from the "real" Taco Mac's. I ordered a version of a club sandwich. I decided to get it to go so I could get the hell out of this place. The food was as bad as everything else in this place. Even the fries were not up to par. The club sandwich looked cheaply thrown together and I couldn't finish it.
I'll never visit this location again. This place is a joke compared to other Taco Mac's.

I like Taco Mac in general - it's one of the best options we have in the south. That said - I do not like this Taco Mac at all.
The atmosphere is very bland and boring, even by sports bar standards. It just feels kind of awkward. The food is mediocre - there's a few good items on the menu, but most the true entrees are very lackluster. But that's not necessarily restricted to this location.
Now, on to the beer - since that's what we're here for. The selection is good, but limited compared to other Taco Macs. And for whatever reason, they don't list the prices on any of their beers. I HATE that. Not only that, but the staff seems to only have a cursory knowledge of better beer. I asked about a brew I hadn't seen or tried before (Samichlaus Bier). He replied to me that it's completely awful, don't try it at all. I took his word for it and ordered something else instead (which turned out to be $9.50...but I didn't know, since they don't list the damn prices). After he left, I decided to look up the beer that he had just finished shitting all over. Turns out it's a very well reviewed beer (B+). Would have quite liked to have tried it.
Now to their credit, they did serve the beer I ordered correctly. They brought my Chimay to me in a Goblet without any ice on the glass. And the server was friendly - just beer-stupid.
All in all, I like Taco Macs in general, but this one sucks. My wife and I will never go to this one again.

These things are everywhere. The one in Lawrenceville, I imagine, is not much different than the rest. Good selection of beers, smokey as hell inside, big screen TVs on the walls, and decent food. Judged on the beer alone, this place is great. I always have a good time when I go here, but you won't be wowed by the atmosphere or anything. The food is common grub - nachos, wings, burgers. Service was always friendly, and they put on a UFC I wanted to watch, which was kind of them. Double Dead Guy on tap was brilliant.

Another Taco-Mac location, and so very much like most others..as far as atmosphere the only negative thing about this one compared to some of the others I have been to was that this one seemed to be a little dark and under-lit. The service was prompt..but of course, they had no idea about beer.
Food was on par for the pub fare..and prices were fairly standard
Downside to this is that it's not a corporate Taco-Mac so your passport card doesn't work here..if you're looking to score points at a TM don't go here..if you're in Lawrenceville and want a good beer then this would be a nice place to stop
