Served into a tulip at the HopCat

Served with a white head. Color is a golden yellow orange.

Aroma: Spiced with pepper, coriander, orange, lemons, and yeast flavors.

Taste: A lot like the aroma. Crushed black pepper, cloves, lemons, orange peel, some fruits. Not getting much of the rhubarb.

Mouthfeel: Crisp and refreshing. Medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends dry and spiced.

Overall, an easy drinking saison with some nice flavors. A really good representation of the style, but never really picked up much of the rhubarb.

Pours a hazy yellow with hardly any head. The aroma is fruity with some banana and some lemon matched well with the peppery spiciness. The flavor is nicely fruity with just a tad of the rhubarb showing through but the beer is generally fairly spicy and has a strong flowery bitterness. Not bad.
