This place is less than a mile from my grandparent's house who live on Tucker Road, right next to a Jack in the Box and Blockbuster in a large shopping center on the west side of the street
Stopped here to pick up a few six packs to share with some relatives and ended up getting some Kona Longboard Lager and 2007 Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
Some other microbrews I found there were some Widmers, a few Lost Coast including Great White and their brown ale, some Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Fat Tire, Pipeline Porter and Fire Rock Pale Ale also from Kona, some Widmer, and a couple different bombers of Anderson Valley stuff
Prices are more than fair but the selection is lacking, can not expect too much from a grocery store though, certainly a fair share of macros there
The place did not seem very clean for and the service was pretty much terrible, long lines, people sending you in wrong directions when you ask where something is
I would go to one of the German delicatessens in Tehachapi before I went back here to buy beer in the future

Albertsons is located at the intersection of Tucker and Valley road near "downtown" Tehachapi. There is a large store front parking area.
The interior is like any other grocery store. The beer section is to the immediate right of the entrance and most of it is in coolers.
The beer selection at Albertsons is pretty good for a grocery store, and very good for a grocery store in the mountains. Domestic craft beers from Kona, Wingwalker, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada etc are all available. There are also some imports but it is mostly the stuff you can get anywhere. Albertsons also allows customers to take singles of any of the brews.
Service here is standard for a grocery store. In other words good luck finding a beer expert.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised to find the selection I did, and ended up stocking up on some new beers and some that I hadn't had for awhile. Definitely worth a peek on future visits.
