Pours a bright golden color with a thick fluffy white head, that stays throughout most of the beer.
The scent is of citrus, yeast, and belgian sugars.
The taste is of very sweet sugars, lemon, yeast, and a noticeable alcohol presence.
Medium bodied, crisp and smooth, moderate carbonation.
I really enjoyed this beer, very good flavor and very easy to drink.

Sampled on-tap at Selin's Grove Brewing Company.
A - Pours a cloudy orange/tan with a pillowy, white head that sits comfortably atop the beer for quite some time, before melting into a nice lace.
S - Coriander (among other spices), yeast, and many fruits working together to fill the air. Alcohol comes through towards the end.
T - Sugary fruit and a surprising hoppiness balance out the creamy yeast & spices. Aroma carries through to the taste very nicely...alcohol is there, but you don't really pay attention to it, because the fruits cancel out the effects in the taste.
M - Creamy body with a slightly bittersweet finish...very crisp.
D - Wouldn't want to start my night with one...but the perfect ending. It paired very nicely with a piece of caramel apple pie.

I had this on tap at the brewpub.
Comes a cloudy peach/apricot color, with a one finger head of white foam that quickly falls to islands and a ring. No lacing on the glass.
Aroma is of pineapples, bubblegum, that funky/earthy Belgium yeast smell we all love, and alcohol.
Flavor is of pineapples, mangoes, sweet syrupy malts and unfermented sugars. Big time heat from alcohol. I'm only having one of these! There is, surprisingly, plenty of hop bitterness to balance all this, and indeed herbal/grassy hop flavor as well. There is so much going on here, it's tough to describe it all.
Mouthfeel is hot/sweet, kind of like habenero pepper jelly, medium carbonation, and a tongue searing heat from alcohol.
For the style, I guess you'd have to say it's a highly drinkable, delicious tripel. But don't be driving, or even walking too far, because you will be in trouble!

Hazy light orange color with a fine creamy head that dies down and leave a bit of lacing.
Spicy nose with coriander, citrus and toast. Similar flavors with an overall chalky character. A bit heavy - not at all bright or sparkly like some tripels.
Full bodied with very light carbonation. Overall, this tripel seems to be bogged down in its size a bit. Tasty enough and a good foil for the soft pretzel with spicy mustard.

This is another hit from the folks at Selin's Grove or should it be in Selinsgrove. The Tripel unfortunately is a seasonal brew so you can be disappointed on a number of visits. It is a beautiful, hazy golden color with a huge white head. The smell is hoppy and fruity at the same time. There is citrusy aroma under the hoppiness. The taste is a really well balanced Tripel with a great taste of malt, quickly replaced by hops, and then finally rounded off with a sweetness and an alcohol kick. It is a little thin in the mouth and with the high alcohol content, two is my limit.

First visit to Selin's Grove and really liked the place. The Triple was poured into a goblet and had a nice light orange/dark gold appearance with a frothy off white head two fingerwidths high. Smell has some typically banana, clove, spicy esters, along with a little bit more alcohol than I expected. Taste is what I expect in a triple, little bit more sugar and warm booziness than in some other triples I enjoy. All in all a strong representation of the style.

I rarely leave the Selinsgrove Brewpub without finishing on a glass of the excellent Trippel
Served in a tulip style glass, a slightly hazy yellow, with a thin head, which maintains through most of the tasting. Carbonation is thin, seeming to rise up from only the center of the glass.
The aroma gets the mouth watering, yeasty, sugary, a whiff of the booze. Taste does not disappoint. Very well balanced. Have to respect the 8.5abv, but it's hard not to take this one on, so tasty. (The used to only allow 2 of these per customer, but now 3)
Overall, an excellent Trippel, and my favorite SBP offering. The missus even bought me a growler to take on home. Life is good.

This beer poured with a golden straw color with two-three fingers of white head that left a nice lace. The aroma of this beer has a strong fruit characteristic with bananas being able to be discern, it also smelled of yeast and had a strong smell of hops. The alcohol content of this beer is cleverly hidden in the sweet malt taste mixed with fruit and ending with the taste of hops. This beer is very well balanced and is one of my favorites.
