On tap at the brewpub.
Poured a hazy orangish gold with little white head, little retention and no lacing. Smells of citrus, caramel, clove, banana, candy, pepper, and yeast. Tastes of lemon rind, sweet candy, honey, clove, banana, caramel, yeasty dough, pineapple, grapefruit, peppery spices, with a slight alcohol warmth in the finish. Medium in body with low carbonation. Sweet with a lightly bitter finish and a nice touch of spices. Hides its alcohol well, but it wouldn't be something I'd want more than 1 of if I was driving.

On tap at the Selins Grove Brew Pub.
Poured a medium and hazy orangish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of fruitiness / pears, citrus, some yeastiness, and alcohol. Tastes of the same fruitiness, citrus, candi sugar, and alcohol. Alcohol burn in the finish. Sweet.

On tap at the brewpub on 10/24/08. Served in a goblet.
Pours a cloudy golden orange with almost a finger of brite-white colored head. Retains well, not shrinking down much and flaring up nicely, leaving a solid cascade of lace behind after each sip. The aroma is a thick and sweet smelling mix of caramel, bread, sugar, and citrus that is accentuated by some hints of spice and yeasty notes.
The taste is candied sugar sweetness mixed in with bready notes, spice, citric character, and even some darker tasting fruits make an appearance. Finishes with some yeasty notes in the back and a warm and sticky feel that lingers. While the overall taste is quite sweet overall, I never found this to be overly so. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a carbonation that spreads out nicely. There is a moderate amount of alcohol present that lends warmth to the body but for the most part, that 11% ABV is nicely hidden.
I enjoyed this. Nice full flavors and body with an overall warm and toasty feel to it, this was perfect for imbibing on a cool October afternoon. Another silent creeper for the style that's another welcome addition to their already killer lineup of Tripels that they serve here.

On tap at SGB on 9/27/08. I believe the actual name of this is "10" Organic Tripel, its moniker derived from the ABV%, which is 10%. This was on the beer menu, anyway! M'wah!
A - Hazy amber/light copper tinged body with half a finger of off-white head that transformed into a patchy film and spotty lacing.
S - Spicy Belgian yeast with a predominant dark fruit character and a tinge of alcohol.
T - Spicy, yeasty aspect up front with hints of plum, raisin and figs. Candi sugar and a touch of alcohol is also present. I also detect a bit of clove and licorice flavors as well. Finishes with a distinctive grainy bready malt character, which was unexpected. Nice complex flavors all meld together in this brew.
M - Full bodied with a syrupy texture and pretty active carbonation. Finish is spicy on the palate.
D - Pretty much their Stealth Tripel with organic ingredients. The 10% ABV is pretty well-concealed.

A new all, organic version of an old favorite, Stealth Tripel.
A-Glowing orb of golden yellow with a thin white ring of foam. Spotty lacing left behind.
S-Sweet and more sweet....this is like a sugar coated candy brew.
T-Again with the candi like sweetness. Somehow though it never becomes cloying or "overly" sweet. Nice yeast/hop bite in the finish.
M-Medium body with an enormous smoothness. Nice bite from the carbonation keeps things interesting.
D-Nice and smooth but a bit too sweet for me to enjoy fully. I guess the malt bill is a bit different compared to the Stealth. Plus at 11% you aren't going to be pounding too many of these!
