A: pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head which held very well.
S: Very fresh nose, fruity (papaya, passionfruits), very hoppy, lightly floral. A light vanilla scent also.
T: The taste is also very fruity (passionfruits, mango, lime), as resinous as can be (pine, sap). Nice bitter aftertaste.
M: Quite high bodied given the ABV. Creamy and smooth. Very refreshing. Alcohol is little detectable. The perfect mouthfeel for the style.
O: A very well done IPA, tasty, pleasant on the palate, balanced and thirst quenching.

Hop Gun IPA is amazing. Appearance is copper with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine and resin, and the taste has a peppery zing to accompany the piney hop flavor. The mouthfeel is perfectly carbonated. This beer did not disappoint, even for a so called hop head. Cheers!

First had: on tap at Funky Buddha, Boca Raton, FL

Staple beer at FB. Hazy amber pour, slightly effervescent, with a finger or so of white foamy on top; moderate retention and lacing. Citrusy hops in the nose, fruity, some bready malts. A pretty basic IPA all over, citrus hops in the taste, with a solid bready malt base. Medium body, finished fairly dry and bitter. Nothing amazing, but a solid, standard, non-threatening, non-palate-wrecking IPA overall.

Served on tap in a shaker pint glass

A - Copper clear amber with a 2 finger white head white great retention and moderate bubbly lacing.

S - grassy, pine, citrus, a touch of herbal hops

T - Pretty nice variety of hops notes, predominately citrus, with grapefruit, orange rind, a touch of grass and moderately bitter finish.

M - medium body, moderate carbonation. chewy, wet.

O - Pretty decent IPA, but nothing particularly stellar and fairly vanilla and seemingly boring compared to Buddha fairly unique style. Drinkable, but many better ipas out there.
