I wanted to try their beer and much to my surprise they had none. The server said they ran out over the weekend and it would be a couple of weeks until the new beer was on. WTF?! How you suppose to run a brewpub like that.? The rest of the draft beer offerings were likewise disappointing. Mostly BMC with the usual import offerings of Guinness, Stella Artois, and Newcastle. Nothing interesting in bottles either.

Now for some good. I like the cabin like atmosphere with wood being 95% of the exposed surfaces. Nice large wood bar with several HD TVs spread throughout. A large stage is set next to the brewing equipment. Service was excellant and the food was good.

I suppose if someone is passing through on Hwy 12 and is hungry, it is worth a stop. It would be hit or miss if you actually got to try the house brew.

I stopped by a second time and tried their beer. A red and blond ale. Served in frozen pint glasses. Not the best start. Had to wait and warm the beer with my hands for awhile before I could actually drink. The beer is average. Hopefully things will improve over time with better beer and different styles.
