P: 1 pint, 6 ozs poured into a tulip glass...Brown Bomber bottle with a fun label, devil-like writing above flames...

A: Clear brassy hue…Leaves behind some fluffy rings of lacing.

S: Mint, marmalade, faint caramel, ripe pear, Orange citrus, lemon juice, light florals and grass.

T: Yuck! A hint of hops, followed by a huge spice kick that turns into a spicy/soap combo...weird!!

M - OK carbonation... There is 'NO' balance in this beer... The hop/limited fruit/and spice combos just don't work...

O - This one is NOT great... I think this beer's name and label are the only worth-while qualities...other than that, nothing really positive to say about the beer...bummer!! Chasin' Cheers :~)

New Brewers and Brewery are now hitting home runs. Hoppy Bitch has a nice golden amber color which denotes the malt forward taste which is followed with a pronounce hop and a clean but lingering bitterness that finishes this well balanced IPA.

it was nice to try a well balanced IPA that was not overly hopped or too high in alcohol which seems to be the race by most breweries today to see who can make the most unbalanced beer when the IPA's are put on the market. The Hoppy Bitch was a pleasant sessionable beer that can be enjoyed over and over.

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.

A real nice looking beer on the pour, caramel red crystal clear body, with some slow rising carbonation. Head is off white and light tan, fluffy and four fingers large. Big retention and clumping action. Aggressive and impressive looking.

Nose is a faint sugar malt, and then a somewhat soapy hop accent. A bit of dry bitterness hop side. Hints of peppermint and candy. Pretty good, but kind of small.

Taste hits with a light body, and a faint malt action on the palate. Hop angle gets a tad medicinal and chalky aspirin quality. Some very tight carbonation that luckily doesn't disturb the palate. A bit jarring citrus oil also with lots of acidic quality on the finish.

Overall it's not really grabbing me, and sort of pulls me in the wrong direction, but it is drinkable.

Poured from a bomber to 3 pint glasses at my buddy Keaton's b-day.

Appearance: A semi translucent pale orange with 2 inch head and good retention.

Smell: Seems to be dominated by Columbus, a fair hoppiness. A good bit of grainy malt tones. Other than that it kind of lacks in smell.

Taste: The flavor follows the nose. It's a solid (mediocre) IPA. It's fairly sweet but I don't think it's anything special.

Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation.

Overall: A decent simple IPA, not not overly Hoppy.

Big thanks goes out to 67couple for sharing this one at a recent tasting! Served from bottle into a Mikkeller oversized wine glass. Poured red-orange with a half finger off-white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, sugar, caramel, and wood. The flavor was of sweet malt, caramel, cream, wood, subtle sugar, and fruit. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. With this one being an IPA by the bottle I was expecting a lot more of a hop presence to be here. Unfortunately that was not the case, but there was still quite a bit going on which was nice. If the hop profiles would have carried over a little bit more this would have been an excellent brew. Definitely worth taking the time to try though.

A light, clear amber colored brew with a fair white head and good lacing. The aroma suggests a weak cereal grain and watery skunk malt. I get some woodsy rye overtones, but all pretty muted. The flavor follows suit but brings a fair bit more hop bite, grassy swamp/herbal stuff with earthy, leafy ideas and sweet tea. This is medium bodied with easy carbonation and a midland feel that drinks readily. Not a bad IPA but not highly memorable.

Appearance is a nice orange with a smooth head of fine bubbles.

Smell is not has hoppy as I was expecting with a name like hoppy bitch.

Taste is likewise dissapointing. Not as hoppy as I was wanting.

Mouthfeel is thin and uncomplicated.

Overall not the beer for hop-heads.

No bottle date. 22oz bottle poured into a white wine glass.

Appearance- Pours a clear, burnt orange color with an off white head. Decent lacing. 4/5

Smell- Muted grassy hop aroma. That is about it. 2.5/5

Taste- There is a kind of weird funkyness to it. Grassy bitterness comes out at the end of the sip. There is also a little bit of alcohol to it even thought it is just 6.3%. 2.5/5

Mouthfeel- Average mouthfeel. I don't really have anything bad to say about it or anything great to say. 3/5

Overall- Can't seem to get that funkyness out of my mouth. It is kind of a bitterness funk. I don't know if I will be buying this again. 2.5/5

The Hoppy Bitch leaves a bitter tast ein one's mouth....just like a real bitch would. The beer pours a clear orange with thin white head that laced. The smell subtle bitter citrus, with floral notes and hints of pepper. The mouthfeel is a medium body with mild carbonation. Overall it is a neat beer to try....can see how Columbus hops accent a beer.
