Appearance: My bottle of Mission IPA poured with a decent head, nice and fluffy. The color was a mid-range orangish-gold.
Smell: I got some piney notes in the nose.
Taste: This is an interesting IPA. First I got some quick hops and then they get balanced on the tongue with some nice lingering malts, right on the sides. I really liked the taste experience here.
Mouthfeel: Nicely carbonated and smooth.
Drinkability: This is a pretty strong IPA example, one of the better ones I've had. I'd totally recommend this to a friend looking for a balanced IPA.

a whole lot better than the shipwrecked imperial, regardless of ratings. this pours nice and light, like a Molson golden, with zesty rising carbonation accumulating into just a quarter inch of light white head. good lacing. the nose is lighter than expected for a beer that claims to use centennial hops. its balanced by pale but fuller flavored malt, and the hops are a little fruity, but still nice and bitter. orange and flowery, very springtime as an ipa, not super bitter, but crisp enough to be refreshing. light enough to be majorly drinkable, no creativity on the malt, its very straightforward. full enough to let the hips shine through, but thin and clean enough to drink easily. excellent carbonation. in some ways this beer is better than its ratings, its got a sturdy abv, its pleasurably drinkable, and packs hops in without being filling at all. a nice release for summer time, and coming in under 10 bucks a sixer, its something I will probably come back to again.

Appearance - yellow gold on the pour, a thin sticky manila head with lace like glue.
Aroma - grainy, very little hop presence.
Taste - grains open up reminding me of malt liquor, but low on sweetness. The hops aren't really citrusy, their bitter side is notable but lacking in depth and character. The malts continue to have presence with some husky flavor after the swallow. For what it's worth, the beer has good balance but that may be due to lack of hop oomph. A touch of citrus will emerge if you let this warm up a bit, but it's hit or miss.
Mouthfeel - crisp with a medium body, pretty much right where I like 'em.
Overall - I finished the sixer over a two week period, but liked it less as I went along. It's okay for a session beer but both the malt and hop sides come across a little lighter than I hoped.

Very dense white foamy head. Brew stands flat looking and orange.
Orange and pine dominate. Peel of lemon also kicks in. Ginger?
Wet cardboard flavors.. Liquid orange rind. Strange spice of hops and malt. Not well blended. Rough, not complete, high carbonation, strange sweetness.
This brew cannot be recommended, even at $2/12oz... It's the first off brew i've had from Mission; keep mixin', boys.
FYI - No date on the bottle

Mission are brand new to Florida - so at least the product will be fresh. Mission IPA pours out a slightly hazy orange with a smaller head for the style. The aroma is delicately hoppy, with a pine kick. The taste offers a flavorful piney and slighty minty hop kick balanced out by a nice kick of malt. Some hop resin sticks around for a nice finish. The mouthfeel is lighter and gently carbonated, and the drinkability is fantastic.
You know what? Mission IPA is the kind of IPA that really does it for me. It's kind of similar to 21st Amendment's Brew Free or Die! in that it they both strike a great balance, and each have a hint of mint to the flavor profile. Not the best IPA in the world by any means, but a tasty, easy-drinker that I'll be seeing a lot of.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.
Clear copper/gold in color, with amoderate head of bone-white foam.
Aroma-Nice whiff of piney, citrussy hops
Taste-Big hop flavors of Cascade and Centennial, balanced nicely with a dose of toasted malt. Citrus-rind bitterness and juiciness flow through to the finish. Snappy and tasty. A good match for spicy fare.
