Pint from the PB Tap Room for three dollars during happy hour, reviewed from notes taken about a month ago
A-Color is a golden clear, yellow, small 1/4 inch slightly creamy head, not much retention, weak lacing
S-Some earthy accents, lots of grains, light skunky aroma, malt was more bready than sweet smelling, hint of lemon, and straw
T-Starts off with some straw and a macro feel, then some bread and grains in the middle, slight bitterness in the finish with the small amount of hops this had, did not change much at all over time, was more thirst quenching when cold but taste did not change dramatically once it warmed, would have liked to see some more complexity and richer flavor but this one was meant to be light
M-A little watered down, body was very light, lots of carbonation, mouthfeel was crisp but subtle, taste did not linger long at all
D-Light and easy on the stomach, do not know the ABV but seemed very low, cannot taste any alcohol, smooth, would make a nice session beer
Had never heard of this beer and just heard the brewery mentioned once before, caught my eye because I wanted something on the lighter side with my pizza that night, not much going on but I did not expect there to be anyways, probably would not drink again, might be worth trying if you are fan of these types of beer

Tap @ O'Briens. It was called Hellas on tap. Clear light gold with a nice white bubbly head. Noble hops, some sugar and straw. Refeshing taste of hops, grass, and a lemony/mineral tinge. A smaller beer, but a good one. More of a session that doesn't fill you up

This beer won a gold medal in the 2007 GABF Helles category
A- Pours a clear, pale straw color, minimal head and lacing which is unsurprising for this style
S- Smooth and crisp malty aroma, touch of grains and earthiness
T- Initial taste is subtle bread/grain malts, finishes with dry, bitter hops, no alcohol presence, very smooth and refreshing
M- Light-bodied lager, watery texture, lively carbonation
D- Very easy-drinking lager that is perfect for long sessions of drinking; I would imagine it would take a lot of this beer to have much damage; tight and crisp taste profile, this is a prototypical example of the Helles style that I can appreciate even though the genre is not a personal favorite
