Funky hazed purple with the thinnist ring I've ever seen on a freshly poured draft beer. Retention, lacing...no way.
Aroma is nice, fresh blueberry pulp and light wheat. Light tartness, the berries definately are real, no artificial junk detected.
Flavor similar. Very fresh blueberry and wheaty tang with soft crackery malt and a hint of pepper. Again you can tell this is real fruit.
Body light and slick, looses carbonation quickly. Tastes nice but the body and presentation need tweaking.

This beer pours an odd pinkish yellow with no hea or lace. The aroma is blueberry with hints of wheat and hops. The flavor is tart blueberry with a mild hop bitterness with a wheat malt finish. It's mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Fegley's Blueberry Belch is a decent beer, recommended.

Well, I am a sucker for blueberry so what the hell, decided to pick up a sixer of this.
A - Pours pretty spritizy with a slight garnet/ruby tinge. Lots of bubbles with a small white head that flattens out pretty quickly.
S/T - Delivers a refreshing blueberry profile, crsip and refreshing. I get the sense that this would be an enjoyable summer brew in that it is very light. I can see downing a couple of these watching the waves roll in at the house in Longport.
M - Thin as a model with an eating disorder. After having some stouts, this seems like water with some blueberry concentrate added.
O - Nobody will like this but I think I'll remember this one for the summer. It's enjoyable if you want a crisp, light, refreshing beer and you like blueberry. I'll be back.

Poured out as a murky brownish amber color, the head was minimal and left no lacing. The aroma of blueberry and wheat were strong on the nose. The taste is the beer has some good blueberry flavors upfront then it faded into a wheat aftertaste. The mouthfeel was on the lighter side with some subtle carbonation. Overall is was an average fruit beer. Decent for summer drinking.

On tap at the Bethelehem Brew Pub.
Poured a deeper and cloudy amberish color with an averaged sized purple tinted white head. Aromas of fresh blueberries. I like the blueberry aroma. Tastes of blueberries with some graininess.
Notes from 09/08/07.

Got a 22 oz. serving during Musikfest.
While I happily paid a $1 more for this beer than the normal 'fest' beers, I was a little disappointed at this offering.
It is difficult to describe, but it tasted like more like a commercial, macro brew, or a 'wheat-beer lite'.
It did have a good appearance, and I could have easily downed a couple more on the hot evening, as it was refreshing.

My wife had one of these on tap today at BBW. I stole enough of hers to be able to pass judgment on it.
Small white head that faded fairly quickly; don't remember much lacing.
This year's batch had a vaguely reddish-purplish tone to it that prior reviewers did not mention; perhaps the recipe has been tweaked. At any rate, it was a cloudy amber with a definite dark reddish cast to it.
I didn't get much smell from it; mainly malts. Flavor was mainly straightforward malts as well, with some gentle berry flavor (not overwhelming) at the end, esp. as the beer warmed up a bit.
I've tried a few fruit beers now, and am beginning to think I'm just not a fan of the genre.
I *do* think this was the best fruit beer I've tried, though. Berry taste was subtle, not cloying, and beer was very drinkable and refreshing.
I suspect real fruit-beer aficionados will be able to think of something else they like better ... but still, I would recommend trying a Blueberry Belch.
It's pleasant, and that ain't entirely a bad thing to be.

A very interesting if not unspectacular brew, but unique, nevertheless. This deep brown/amber Bier presented with about a one-finger head on it. Not too shabby for this style, in my opinion. The aroma was, in my mind's eye, virtually nonexistent. The flavor was of bluberry, pure and simple. No additional sweetness, no real malt back bone to it. This is essentially like drinking a gladd of blueberries. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Prosit!

A somewhat cloudy golden amber colored brew topped with a small comvering of white foam. The nose is made up of a mild berry aroma as well as pale malts.
There is only a very faint fruity aroma of blueberries. It really does not make up the flavor, but it does provide sweetness. There is a big array of pale grains and bready flavor. It is light, crisp, and a bit refreshing. It is definitely a good summer brew, but it needs a bit more flavor and body.
