SanTan has a habit of calling these red IPAs, when what they are is hoppy red ales. Whatever. Enjoyed in an English pint at Papago.

Dark as a porter, with crimson highlights sneaking through the parts that aren't opaque. Nitrogen gives it a thick, one-inch head of creamy froth.

Sweet and tropical. Guava, caramel, mango, a hint of orange pith. Dark sweetness with a splash of bitter citrus.

Creamy medium-full body, nitrogenated and smooth like velvet.

Solid. More a red than IPA. Good on nitro, though.
