From notes on 03/10/12:
On-tap at the brewery/restaurant; Poured in a pint glass.
A - Came with a thin layer of off-white head that disappears quickly; Light caramel in color with a cloudy appearance; Leaves pretty good rings of lacing behind
S - Good amount of grapefruit present that's a bit tart, as well as some tropical fruits and a light yeasty and spicy aroma
T - There's plenty of tart grapefruit in the taste, just like the nose; Caramel tasting malts provide the backbone of the flavor with just a light spice coming through as well; Just a bit of bitterness is felt throughout the taste
M - Medium bodied; Good amount of carbonation; Finish is a touch dry
O - Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew from Blue Mountain that brings quite a bit of grapefruit punch. The thing I liked most about this beer is the fact that the hops were harvested by local volunteers to make a truly unique creation. As for the flavor, the grapefruit tartness seemed fairly strong, but not to the point where it was overwhelming. I could drink this brew again, but I'd probably opt for other Blue Mountain offerings if given the choice.

Served on tap in a snifter (from notes) at the brewery on Oct. 13, 2011.
A - Golden-yellow in color, thin bubbly head, noticeable lacing.
S - Very hoppy in the nose, notes of citrus and sweetness.
T - Smooth, hoppy taste without being bitter. Mix of citrus/fruit flavors. Very fresh tasting.
M - Medium bodied, smooth in the mouth. Nice carbonation with a hoppy aftertaste.
O - I found the Wet Hopped Harvest to be a fantastic beer. It was utterly delightful and one of the best special edition beers I've had at Blue Mountain. Utterly delightful and a nice blend of straight-forward and simple ingredients.
