On cask at stubs.
Served in a pintglass to the brim. Very little fizzy head. Still left some lace though. Color is hazy golden yellow orange.
Aroma: I am surprised by how much the watermelon shows here. Reminds me of Jolly Rancher watermelon. It has a slight wheat and citrus profile. The hops don't show as much as the regular version.
Taste: Again, big watermelon flavor up front. Pretty unique. Earthy hops, lemon citrus with some orange flavor. Wheat as well.
Mouthfeel: Clean and smooth. Lower carbonation with a medium body. Ends a bit sticky/dry.
Overall, the watermelon gave it a little kick that I liked. I preferred this over the regular. A solid summer beer if it was available more often. Good stuff.

Served from a bar-top firkin at Ed's in Winona. Notes taken from my iPhone on September 9th, 2011.
Poured into a pint glass with a hazy, thick, straw-colored body topped by a nearly nonexistent white head that died before I could even grab the glass. Decent lacing.
Aroma was massively one-sided. Slight wheatiness, but overwhelmingly artificial watermelon aromas. Puny amount of citrus and earthy hops, but barely noticeable over the overpowering watermelon flavor.
Flavor was exactly as it smelled... artificial watermelon flavored wheat. Very hidden bubblegum flavor and a surprisingly tart finish.
Smooth mouthfeel, a bit thick, mildly creamy from the cask, but with a horribly disgusting aftertaste... burnt almost, a combination of a fairly decent beer completely covered up with way too much of a nasty fruit extract.
Overall, this could've had potential if the watermelon would have complimented instead of overpowered the beer. Hell, I even like watermelons. As it was, I couldn't even finish the pint. Downright bad.
As a side note, this was served at the bar where I work (although I was only a customer on this night). It was tapped at 9 on a Friday night, and this is the first of several firkins we've had where not only was it not empty in a couple of hours, but by bar close four hours later, a good half of the keg remained.
