Draft. Served at Firkin Fest 2011. Pours a dark brwon amber mahagony color with a tan head of tiny bubbles. Roasted coffee notes in the nose more than anything with a chocolate and dark fruit kicker towards the end. The flavors are nice and are a nice blend of dark roast, dark chocolate, dark fruit, and a touch of vanilla. Ends with a lingering bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. I like this but was surprised the roast coffee notes were so dominate, I would have liked a little more emphasis on the fruit side.
