Picked this up at my favorite beer store in Belgium, Dranken Geers. This is a collaboration beer between Brasserie De la Senne (Belgium) and Brasserie Le Trou du Diable (Québec). Very cloudy peach colored pour with a one and a half finger head with decent retention and great lacing. The nose is somewhat unique, perhaps due to the varied selection of hops, specifically the Nelson Sauvin, as well as the addition of rye to the brew. Very spicy with lots of wet hay, coriander and rye bread, along with floral hints and a touch of lemon sourness. The taste mirrors the nose, dominated by the bitter, grassy, citrusy hops, with a ton of grapefruit and lemon. The rye is very subtle as is the malt. Slightly above average carbonation with an aggressive, tangy, bitter, dry finish. A unique interpretation that stands out from the usual.

Beer is hazy and pale yellow in color. Nice white head on top of it. A lot of bubbles in it... quite effervescent. The aroma is timid and hidden. Citrus in the nose with some typical belgium yeast. On the taste, it has stronger presence of hops (piny). Very very dry in the mouth. Lots of bubbles in the mouth too... Very bitter with a dry finish. This is very refreshing and outdoor during hot summer day, this beer would be awesome.
A nice little beer from a collaboration from Trou du Diable in Quebec and Brasserie La Senne in Belgium.

Bottle: Poured a hazy light beige color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of rustic malt notes with light dry pungy hops notes. Taste is a mix between a semi-sweet malt backbone with some rustic notes and some pungent hops with a dry finish. Light herbal notes could also be detected. Body was full with good carbonation. Nice drinkable Belgian ale with some complexity.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a solid 2ish finger head, stays for some time.
Nose; some citrus (orange and lemon zest) with a bit of floral hops and an interesting vegetal note.
Taste; blood orange, lemon zest, a hint of floral hops, finishing with a deep earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel; crisp and incredibly dry, especially in the finish...seems as if there is a bit of wheat in the grain bill.
Overall; crisp, clean, nice light hoppiness and incredibly drinkable. Solid beer, but I'd take a fresh Taras Boulba over this offering for sure...
