Red colored beer. Poured two fingers with a short retention.
Fruity aroma of red berries, at some point could get even some leeches.
Sweet malty and caramelly taste balanced with herbal hops and a fruity feel.
Dry and biter aftertaste.
Light to medium body. Light carbonation with small bubbles.
The tweak to its style was to be much hoppier than other red ales and refreshing as well.

Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Fair head retention.
Dull aroma with hints of oxidation. Some malt and no hop. A straight forward and very simple red ale.
Malt with some darker fruit notes and tocuhes of caramel. Very light earthy hop. Medium-low bitterness. Okay I suppose with a pleasant fruitiness.
Medium body with moderately-low carbonation. Fine.
A plain but acceptable Amber Ale. Much more English in style than American but it works I suppose.

Tanned head on top of a reddish amber beer. The head is part foam, part bubbles and slowly recedes to thinner, pinky sized foamy one.
Biscuit malt aroma to begin with along with the tiniest bit of skunk and some spice on the nose too. There is some light, grassy hops and a touch of citrus too.
Malts & spice to begin with, there is some light caramel and a lingering nutty flavour. There is a bit of fruit in there from the middle towards the end of the sip that includes some toasted bitterness and hints of tropical fruit and berries; a real change up from the nose but a nice one.
Medium bodied and with a sweet, fruity feel to it along with medium carbonation and a lingering wet, bitter aftertaste.
This one started slow with not much in the way of an appealing smell, somehow I was expecting it to be more fruity and stronger when it came across like an English bitter but the taste was great and just what I had been expecting. There is a good mix of fruit and malts that go down well and the beer feels great as well.

Bought this at the supermarket, pretty expensive, but its one of the better beers they got.
Pours amber red with a light orange one inch head, smells hoppy.
A very hoppy taste, more hoppy than i expected, but i like it.
Pretty drinkable, leaving a nice foamy lacing on the glass.

3.8% ABV, cask, sampled on 29 January 2011 at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford
A - dark clear ruby colour, bubbly thick brownish head.
S - Sweet and floral with a hint of malt. Mild but appealing smell.
T - Caramel, floral hoppiness. Peachy notes with a good balance of sweet and bitter.
M - Flat but refreshing, good coating of the mouth.
D - At just 3.8% ABV this is an excellent session beer that tastes stronger than it is. Floral hoppiness is well balanced by the mlt.

First off this is 3.8% version of the same beer. Not sure if this is specifically a CASK version or a new version.
A- Dark amber with a soft thin head. Decent lacing.
S - Sweet Biscuit malt with a bit of grassy hop bite to it.
T - Fantastic contrast of flavors. the sweet biscuity malts do dominate but not overpower the bit of spice and garden fresh hoppy flavor which picks up and stands up to the malt towards the end blending really nicely and finishing with some dry woody notes.
MD - As always the Cask pours it so smooth. Some stonger flavors were left on the palate but the great taste and love ABV made it such an easy one to drink.

The beer has a beautiful amber/red color with a decent amount of head.
Taste of different fruits/berries with a good amount of bitterness.
I enjoyed this beer, worth tasting if you get a chance.
330ml bottle served in a small glass after sauna.

This red ale have a beautiful brown-red colour, a creamy and delicious looking foam.
On the nose I get alot of tropical notes, mango, papaya etc. A slight malt flavour as well.
Bitternes is nice and firm, and holds the beer well focused. I most admit, I´m disapointed by the flavour. Getting good malt, and some yeast notes, but not a whole lot of complexity. Falls through on after a promising.
A lovely nose, but a kinda boring taste. The CO2 is nice and creamy, so the mouthfeel is great. Just not much flavours.
