Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows loads of caramel, cookie dough, tangerine and marmalade. Not all that hoppy.
Flavours are not so interesting, but show some caramel before a harsh grainy finish rolls through.
Nice light body and med-high carbonation.

A: Pours a slightly hazy yellow color forming a medium creamy and bubbled white head. Medium retention and many spotty lacings left in the glass

S: Malts and flowery hops. A bit sour too

T: Very grainy with notes of flowery hops. Dry and slightly sour. Mild hoppy bitterness

M: Light body and carbonation. Dry malty and flowery hops aftertaste

O: Good drinkability. Not a bad Lager

Bottle: 330mL brown bottle. Pretty plain, yet kind of stylish. At least it's different.

Appearance: mid golden-copper in colour with a touch of haze. Not much in the way of head though, which is a bit disappointing.

Aroma: a somewhat earthy aroma with spices over the top. Grassy and citric hops barely noticeable.

Taste: not a bad lager, but neither is it spectacular. A touch of bite from some heavy grains and nuts. Otherwise however, not much happening.

Aftertaste: an awkward bitterness lingers. Not particularly pleasant.

Mouth feel: Again, this lager could have benefitted from a heavier body. The carbonation is about right however.

Overall: not a bad lager - at least it's different to the standard lager fare. But because of that I would compare it to a light pale ale, not a lager, in which case it is overpriced at AU$75 a case (2012) compared to a lot of its (better) competitors.

This poure out as a clear yellow brew with a white head on top. The head retention an lacing were both pretty off on this beer. The smell of the beer is grainy, fresh and slightly grassy. The taste is also grainy and has some flavors of corn and grass. The mouthfeel was decent, not too exciting. Overall this beer was sessionable and could be enjoyed by many.

The pour is a clear light golden color with a tall white head. Typical pils aroma of biscuit malt, cracker, and light hops. A nice yeast note, mild esters, and floral hop aromas. Lightly sweet, too. The flavor has just a touch of grass to go along with the floral hops. Bread, biscuit, and cracker malts give a soft sweetness. Light yeast and some hints of apple esters.
