Bottled but I doubt it’s bottle conditioned
Pours a fairly clear rich amber body with good white head that sticks
Aroma is pine and resinous
The flavour has a biscuity malt start then some tart citrus that has a bitter finish

Cloudy golden orange colour with a smooth, off-white head. Good head retention and lacing.
Very light hop aroma. Some acetaldehyde. Lightly grainy. Not good.
Slightly grainy malt. Crisp, clear bitterness. Light tropical hop character. Disappointing and really quite poor for a Pale Ale yet alone an IPA.
Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Fine.
Not a good IPA. I was really looking forward to this but the lack of punchy hop character really lets it down.

IPA single hopped with Nelson Sauvin (NZ) 7.1% ABV on tap in Edinburgh brewpub.
A- caramel nut colour, good clarity, really solid lacing and film, strong carbonation.
S- aged lemon, leafy, tropical mangoes, some caramel roasty malt, great balance.
T- hoppy, fruity coffee, tropical pineapple sweetness, aftertaste is dry, slightly herbal, pine note, nice complexity.
M- nice dry finish, moderate soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel but a decent balance, oily hopiness, really drinkable.
Overall, a bit hop heavy but a really nice showcasing IPA, could be more balanced but really good. Nice delicious flavour, with enough malt to hold it together.
