500 ml bottle, at Murphy’s 8541 Irish pub, Skødstrup. ABV is 5.2%. Pilsener with birch syrup added. Golden colour, slightly hazy, moderate head. Nice aroma of Saaz hops and birch syrup. Fresh pilsener flavour with moderate but noticeable hops, the birch syrup is present as an airy notion in the background. Well worth sampling.

The colour is medium straw yellow; the liquid is almost clear. The fizzy head is two fingers high, white and airy. It sinks slowly leaving no lacing.

The smell is very sweet with hints of birch sap, unfermented malt and a touch of flowery hops. It is a bit... plain.

The taste is also very sweet and reminds of pilsner wort more than a finished beer. Birch sap, sugar, some mixed vegetables and minerals. Some very gentle bitter notes in the aftertaste, with hints of sweet-sour fruits (kiwi, passion fruit). The finish is dry.

The carbonation is mild. The medium sized bubbles are a little sharp. The liquid is light with some sticky notes.

An odd pilsner with an annoying extra sweetness.

Pours the same color as every other euro pale lager (pils) out there. With a crisp white head that fades quickly leaving patches of lace around the glass.

Smell is sweet, maybe some corn, hops, even a little honey.

Taste starts out a bit leathery up front then fades to a honey corn flavor with some light notes of hops through out. Finish is dry but watery (how is that?).

Not the best pils I've ever had but not the worst either, best served cold, which tells you something right there.
