On-tap at Thai Pepper in Ashland, OR. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a clear deep reddish amber, and was brought to me with a minimal off-white head. Not much lacing no matter how hard I tried to inspire it.
Smell is barely detectable. There's a bit of hops there, but not much, and it's mostly present as earthy, resin, and bitterness.
Taste is balanced, with the edge tipping towards the hops. Again, not much present other than bitterness and earthy hop flavors. No aromatics, no fruit. Just not a whole lot there. Malts are present as a grainy fullness and a touch of sweetness.
Medium-light in body, ample carbonation.
Summed up in 3 words: hoppy, weak, and unremarkable. It doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste real good either. No strong flavors, not a whole lot of complexity. A rather bland, balanced-but-slightly-hoppy red ale.

Served on tap into a shaker glass
A- Poured a very dark red/brown color, very clear, white frothy head that chunky lace
S- Kind of faint, but some really nice rich toffee, juicy fruit, and red malts in the aroma
T- Very rich toffee and red malt notes, some chocolate, juicy fruit notes, and finishes with a light citrusy hop bitterness
M- Semi-dry, medium to light bodied, quite smooth
O- Really nice rich malt character with a nice subtle hoppiness on the finish. Really nice red ale with lots of flavor.

had from tap and poured into a pint glass. Pours a nice amber color with a good foamy head.
Nice malt based aromas with some hop notes and grains. Not all that deep and singular, but it does do it well.
Good medium body, but lacking some depth. The feel is nice and smooth with notes of malts and some hops.
A pretty solid beer. It wasn't the greatest in the world, but a very drinkable beer.
