Had this on tap last summer at the NE Sandy Blvd. Laurelwood in Portland, Oregon. The colour was a very light gold with a thin head. The aroma was noble hops, beeswax and grain. On the palate, there was a quick burst of CO2, then delicately floral hops with a bit of bitterness around the edges and a slightly grainy finish.

Had on tap 8/19 at the 51st brewpub into a pint glass.

Poured a golden color with a slight haze, not the most perfect looking Czech pils, but a one inch white head formed on top and left decent lacing,

Aroma was crisp and clean with that wonderful Saaz hop character producing some floral, spicy notes. The malt character is slightly sweet and bready, a great balance with the hops.

Taste was just as impressive as the aroma suggested it would be. A very nice balance of spicy and floral hop character with a bit of sweetness and bready malt character followed by a crisp bitterness to round things up.

Mouthfeel was on the light side, as the style should be, with a good level of carbonation that let the flavors out nicely and enhanced the hop bitterness. Highly drinkable.

I was very impressed by this. I could have drank pints of this all night but I decided to order a sampler instead.
