Great little liquor store on Portage Road over by the lakes. Great selection of wine, beers and liquor. Great homemade pies and deli. Great selection of home brew supplies and do it yourself wine making supplies. Always have a variety of beer from local hand craft breweries. Bell's, Founders, Arcadia, New Holland and other great Michigan beers the best in the world! What else kind of selection do you need? but if your looking for something different they beers from the west coast to the east coast.

I'll bring this review up to date.

An out-of-the-way place near the lake. Never found anything there that I couldn't find at another store within a couple miles' drive. And at those stores the staff actually acknowldeges your presence in a postive manner.

My experience is frighteningly similar to the first reviewer's, especially regarding the service and the "outsider" feeling that pervades the place. Looks like not much has changed in terms of selection, price, and service. Unless you're a local or regular, I guess you can forget about feeling good about spending your money there.

I gave Daane's three tries to impress me. Three strikes and yer out!
