Hazy, white-straw appearance with a thin head, but good solid retention. Good carbonation floats bubbles to the top. The smell is an exact representation of the beer's name, double the pleasure of any good white ale, enough spices to go around twice. Smooth taste with the spices coming up front and then disappearing to make this exceptionally smooth and deep. Witbier is way down on my list of top choices, but this one is exceptional with good complexity and smoothness yet a fantastic refreshment. Good stuff here.
