This is a very solid beer. It has a very nice mahogany color and a decent head. It smells like a red, but with a little more hoppiness and body than usual. The taste is a combination of red ale flavors with more hops than you would normally expect (which is a good thing for me). At times it almost tastes like it's crossing into the barley wine range but still very balanced and well-made. It comes across much stronger 6.8% but is still a very nice beer to sit and enjoy. Too many of these and you won't remember much.
Note: The beer is called Scarlet Harlot and is misspelled on this site.

Pours a nice deep shade of red with a thick off-white head, great lacing.
Smells of caramel, slight cotton candy, grass and a hint of pine.
The taste starts bitter with grassy and citric hops, sweet malts follow, more bready than caramel. There is something else I can't put my finger on, but it's good.
A tad thin in the mouth.
My first beer from Auburn Alehouse and I thought it was nice. It certainly got me interested in trying a few more.

Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a nice big cream colored head.
Aromas are very nice. Hard candies, caramel, and fresh pine resiny hops.
Taste is pretty hoppy for an amber. Pine like bitterness hits you up front, beer then settles into some creamy caramel malt flavors. Finish is dry, with a lingering earthy hop bite.
Mouthfeel is solid. Doesn't feel weak, has good body that isn't too heavy.
Drinkability is good. This beer definitely has a nice kick to it, but I very much enjoyed a couple of pints from the growler.
