Picked up a growler from the alehouse and drank it the same day.
A nice finger of tan head on a black body. Looks good.
The aroma is coffee, chocolate and cream. Quite nice.
The taste has a solid bitterness throughout. There's a coffee and cream flavor too.
Smooth texture with low carbonation and a heavier body.
A solid stout and sessionable at 4.8%

A - Pours a dark black with a big thick covering of creamy brownish head. The head hangs around for quite a while leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of deep roasted chocolate malts and a bit of sweetness and oats mixed in as well.
T - Starts off with some light roasted chocolate malt and a bit of sweetness and oat flavor. Through the middle a bit more sweet milk and oats come through. The finish is a mix of roasted and sweet chocolates that linger.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer feels smooth and very creamy. The beer has an very nice texture from the oats and nitro serving.
D - Very drinkable and smooth and creamy. Nice roasted flavors and sort of light but not empty at all.

Had a pint on tap at the brewpub. Foam tasted of intense semi-sweet dark chocolate. Very good body, excellent stout character. Well-balanced tastes of chocolate, malt, some hops--a fine oatmeal stout. Bubbles a little coarse for nitro, but a very minor drawback.

Pours a four finger light brown head over a pitch liquid with clear brown edginings. Smells roast, dry earthy hops, and some cream.
Tastes potent roast, to the point of being ashy and somewhat sour. With a flavor this intense, I would expect it to be ery dry, but it's actually got a supporting sweet. Not enough depth of other character to carry the intensity through. Iron ans cherry-like sourness. Mouthfeel is md light with some oat character. My teeth are almost sticky as if from all the tiny roast suspended particles.
