Went there on a Wednesday night. In the summer. Of a college town.
Even with the above considered, at 10pm a band was setting up, and there was a decent crowd. Everyone was laid back and friendly. Real good atmosphere.
I didn't have any food so I can't comment, although it looked good.
The service was quick and attentive and helpful. My glass was always filled, and when switching styles, was given new glasses.
Selection was actually good for a small brewpub with about 9 taps.
A very good experience. A must visit when in Miami area.

2 PM on Tuesday afternoon. Not the best time to feel the vibe in a bar. But, when you're on a tight schedule... I'm the only one at the bar so I get all the attention. A sampler of their current taps is in order. Hurricaine Gale Force Ale is the seasonal and is quite tasty. They also had a Honey Blond. It's readily evident why the Triple Screw Light Ale, Nut Brown and Captain Smith's Rye were award winners. Unfortunately, they were out of the barleywine. All beers were well made and very drinkable with the White Star IPA and Ship Builder Oatmeal Stout being my favorites. Food menu was interesting with something for everyone but I only had time for a quesadilla.
I can imagine the place would be rocking later with a hip hop DJ and the Miami college crowd. A definate stop for anyone with a few hours to kill in South Miami or a BA on a beer drinking south Florida road trip. Key West next stop..

Airy, clean brewpub near Miami University and opposite the elevated electric railway line. There are two areas divided in the middle, comprising the left bar area and the right dining area. A small, raised window section is opposite the end of the bar, while the mash tun, kettle, and HLT are in full view of the diners. Fermenters and serving tanks are in a separate room behind the bar. White Star Shipping Line memorabilia abound on the walls, and the ceiling is graced by small chandeliers. Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
There is a very good range of beer styles on tap, and their ales are of high quality. There is a beer engine for cask ales too, though nothing was on it when we visited. 6 x 5oz samplers can be obtained for $4.50. Some beers are sterile filtered, some are not.
There is an extensive food menu (not a great veggie selection though), and the helpings were extensive too.
Thoroughly recommended by me.

As far as I know, the only brewpub in the southern half of Miami and oddly, one of only a few bars nearby to the University of Miami. A recent, but very welcome and quite well-done addition to Miami's practically non-existant brewpub scene.
While it looks like a chain bar, it's actually just a really well-executed start-up from the owner of Miami's most famous college bar, Coconut Grove's Tavern. There's Titanic crap all over the place, sure, but it's not too over-the-top, and the bar, with it's subdued lighting and glass-walled tank room, is very nice--definitely date or wife-worthy.
The bar features an essentially fixed menu of brewed in-house micros, which range from mediocre (the light beer) to exceptional (their IPA). There's usually a few guest taps--including a strawberry lambic last time I was there--and a full-liquor bar.
A huge bonus is the bar's exceptional food. It features a huge menu of appetizers and entries, all of which are large and very, very good. Even if you don't drink, it's worth a visit for the food alone.
As mentioned in other reviews, the bar features almost-nightly live music. It wobbles from pretty good to awful, but given that Miami is probably the worst city in the entire country for live rock-and-roll, they do what they can.
A very pleasant, solid brewpub. If you find yourself in Coral Gables, definitely worth a visit for a bite and a brew.

A very solid brewpub. And right across the street from my campus! They have damn good food (try the burgers/hotwings--also their entree selection is interesting and tasty)- and always have a seasonal and sometimes a cask ale on tap. The Dubbel they had on tap when I was last there was excellent and served in a proper fluted goblet. Must tries: their white star IPA (cascade out of this world) and their Oatmeal stout, which is more comparable perhaps to an Imperial with it's higher alcohol and punchy hops.
They also have many events that coincide with UMiami sports, and regularly have (pretty decent) bands.
Definetly a must see if you are in the Miami area.

This is a nice find in Miami. As one of the only brewpubs around, I'll take it. The service is usually excellent and the selection of beer is also very good. They always have a couple of seasonals on tap and a cask conditioned (which varies from week to week). The usual selection at Titanic consists of the standard run of beers (IPA, Oatmeal Stout, Nut Brown Ale, Bitter, Light Ale, etc.).
The only drawback on atmosphere is that if you're not lucky, you can strike a night with loud, live music. Usually the music here is great, but they do run open jam sessions so things can get pretty noisy and not really good!!
