Appearance: Pours out pretty much pitch black with 1" of dark khaki head. Good retention and lacing. Nice looking beer, pretty opaque.

Smell: Smells very roasty, with some bitter dark chocolate and coffee in there as well. Much more expressive and intense than many in this style.

Taste: Some roasted malt character up front, with bitter dark chocolate and coffee as well. Very nice. Very strong, expressive flavors.

Mouthfeel: All of medium bodied, probably a little full than that even. Nice low carbonation, and very smooth. Overall, I was honestly extremely impressed with this. One of the best oatmeal stouts I've had, if not the best.
