Pours a hazy dark straw with a massive pillowy white head. Fades to clingy line sof lace.

Aromas are of barnyard funk, sherbet lemons.

Taste in the same vein with yeast added to the mix. Zesty and lively and a delight.
Lemon flavours build.

Mouthfeel is champagne like and wonderful.

Overall, a very good beer, but I must confess to not knowing the different between this and thier standard Saison. A to B would be nice... Seems a bit more intense overall than standard Saison maybe?

Edit .... Yep ok quite clearly an 8 % is going to kick more than the std 5% std Saison... Isn't it?...I have just noted the difference...

Purchased cause of the great reviews on here.

Pours a golden-yellow. Massive, massive, chunky, frothy white head. Like the top of a tidal wave or ice cap. Like watching starts blinking in a white nebula. Like Duvel. By far the best head I've seen certainly on an Australian beer and really the only one to rival Duvel.

At first sniff all I get is Belgian malts. Not particularly appetising, but to style and this beer was served rather cold. With time I get distinctive hops, which lend a pleasant melon-like note to the beer. Other smells are fairy floss, toffee apple and a faint starchy grain. And rye/soy/wheat.

Taste is full-on melon. Can also taste the Belgian yeast but there's no syrupiness to this beer- it's very dry. Get an almond-y marzipan character. And wheat again.

Alcohol can only be sensed occasionally in the aftertaste, and then it has a pleasing, dry, bitter character, and mingles with the hops effectively.

This is a superbly crafted and subtle Saison, one of the best and also most faithful interpretations of the style I've had, and it's from an Australian brewer. Truly a hidden gem.

Worth getting for the head alone. Temple is a consistently top-tier Australian brewer for me.

Been harbouring this a while. Not sure of age.

Very healthy hiss upon opening. Straw gold, moderately hazy, with a billowing white head that gently collapses over five minutes or so to a raised ring and film. Strong bead.

Delectable tropical fruit aromas with a neatly tart, almost musky quality. Peach, custard apple, honeydew melon, apricots and candy floss alongside plenty of spicy phenolics and mellow barnyard funk. Love it.

Flavours don't have quite cover the same spectrum, but still display that distinctive perkiness, which I'm guessing must be the interplay of the honey and yeast. Floral spice, marmalade and green apple tartness is the main game.

Surprisingly light body, with aggressive spritzy carbonation quickly clearing the way for a bone dry finish.

Best Aussie Saison I've had so far. Engagingly complex and way drinkable. Could do with a bigger body to really carry the flavours though.

Another new brew from these guys and pours a hazed golden honey hue which leaves a creamy three finger head and lots of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass its definately carbonated,the smell is nice and a little different with aromas of bubblegum,honey,flowers in bloom,a slight touch of funk and country air,the mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated with tastes of honeyed malts,floral hops,a touch of barnhouse funk,candied peaches and finished with a champagne dryness and overall its nice,easy to drink while still having substance and i like it.
