I have been shopping this place since it opened up a few months back. I have to say the selection is decent they get in new product but litterly no one stocks the single shelf area, it looks like a picked over mess. Service is horrible I was telling the manager about good beer, he had no idea what I was talking about, I never see any staff informing or educating customers. The selection of new beer and the value is the reason why I still shop here just don't ask for help cause you probably won't get any. This is foremost a wine store so I don't want to trash the store completly since I know nothing about wine. Make sure you look at the prices that are being rung up, since each and everytime I get charged for 6 or 4 pack even though I buy the single bottle. BIG PROBLEM.

Very similar big box set-up as my local Total Wine. I wanted to check out Total Wine because I was traveling and wanted to quickly pick up a few beers that I can not get with local distribution. This place was perfect for what I wanted. I found Twisted Pine, Inlet, Florida Beer, Coronado, and even a leftover Ballast Point Sculpin. I did have a couple that were not as fresh as I would have liked. They also did not have much from Cigar City at the time, which was disappointing.

I like coming here. It has a really great selection of craft beers plus twice a year they put our a free beer guide that is really informative to us newbies out here. My one gripe is going to be that they have a "big box" feel. I prefer smaller stores that have little treasures.

This is without a doubt the best place in Boca to purchase bottled beers. Although TW is noted formhaving old stock on the shelves, as long as one is careful, the old beers can be weeded out. The selection is unbeatable. All the local stuff plus all the the regional and national brewer available. It seems they have an extraordinary amount of Clown Shoes, I guess because they are "brewery direct". Large selection of every other beer with some cold, some at the front, some at the back. The location is ideal and prices are definitely the cheapest in the area. I recommend thismplace if younare looking for beer in Boca Raton.

After getting into craft beer in mid-2009, I quickly discovered Total Wine and it soon became my new toy store. I mainly go there every week for the latest craft beer releases, but I also shop for the occasional spirit or bottle of wine. Employees are always friendly and willing to help, and I love that I can call ahead and reserve a rare bottle if I suspect it will fly off shelves before I can get my hands on it. The beer aisle looks like the soda aisle at a standard grocery store - it seems to go on forever, with hundreds and hundred of different selections. Prices are always fair and subscribing to their email newsletter gets you some great coupons every week. The only downside to the Boca Raton location is that there is no classroom that many other locations have, which means if I want to attend a Total Wine beer, wine or spirit class (or specialty tasting), I have to travel to Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, etc. I don't know if it's possible, but a remodel to add one of these classrooms would be a worthy investment, in my opinion. Occasionally I've had issues trying to find prices on bottles because they hit the shelves before the price tags have been attached, but a friendly associate will always help with whatever I need. Total Wine is my own personal grocery store for beer and I'm glad there's one in my town.

This is my go to store I described in my profile. Bright and clean. Massive. Well written, bold signs are everywhere describing each of the various alcohols, some of which show Beer Advocate's rating! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I've engaged in several great conversations here. The selection is the BEST anywhere near here, hands down. If you have a better place near here then please tell me otherwise. The prices are rock bottom and if they are not they will do a price match if you bring in the ad with the sale. (Not 100% on how the policy goes). Sign up for the newsletter and you'll even get coupons sent to your email. I use my dollar off ever time!
They sell a lot of different kinds of alcohol here but i come for the stunning amount of craft beers. You can even make your own 6 pack of beer. There's one HUGE rack of 6 packs, 4 packs and a few mini kegs. The other side of the rack has all the single beers and some other things. They sell various sized kegs here as well. There is not much food at all. Just a few snack foods really.
With the overall Selection/Value and Knowledge of the staff here you really cant go wrong.

pretty impressive selection of national and international beers. All of the usual suspects, and a few more rare beers. not a lot by way of sours...which was one of the things I was looking for.
I came looking for Cigar City beers, and unfortunately they only had the Big Sound Scotch Ale...their "Beer guy" (Chris, I think...) apologized, and explained that they didn't get much/any of the other beers...but some of the local bars got *a* case, and one might still have a few bottles. he offered to call them for me, but I explained that I was only in town for the night, and had other plans.
pretty good stop. prices pretty good as well.

Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL is as easy going as they come. The atmosphere is second to none and the service is incredible. If you don't believe me ask for Brian Torres (a.k.a. Boriquo QT). This tall drink of water helped me select some beers that would challenge my pallet as well as turn my world around. I tried a Yeti Imperial Stout, Stone Arrogant Bastard, and Chimay Premier Red. I could go on forever, baby! Classy place for the common citizen who just wants good beer. Take it to the bank and cash that info.

This is a regular stop for me. They're several younger guys who man the cash registers who I've found are the beer drinkers - experts - seek them out, the rest of the place is consummed with wine knowledge. They prefer stouts and have turned me on to some of my "now favorites". This store often puts $1 off coupons in the Sun_Sentinel news paper which can be used on up to (4) sixpacks. Since I'm a regular they let me use the 6-pack coupons on Rasputin Imperial Stoud 4 packs which bring the price down to $5.49 very reasonable.
They have the best pricing I have found on craft beers and the foreign selection is very good. Try the 8 Ball Stout for $7.49 a six pack for a very good value. I was getting Stoudt's Fat Dog outmeal stout for $9.49 but its recently jumped to $13+ bummer.

Visting my gf's parents who live near by, so I had to stop in since it looks like this may be the best place in FL for beer.
Place is immense, the vodka selection alone is ridiculous, but we are here for the beer. Selection is great, especially considering what I've seen in other stores in the area. Pretty much the full line of Avery and Boulder, some DFH standards and special releases, some Bell's and Terrapin, a bunch of interesting looking beers I've never seen/heard of, and an impressive import section. A nice amount of singles and 6-pack holder at the ready to make a mixed pack. Sixers are on the otherside of the singles, and BMC is nicely hidden toward the back. Cold selection is minimal.
Saw a couple beers out of season, but no more than at a usual beer store. Service was nonexistant, but the woman at the checkout was friendly.
Prices were ok - some more than I've seen elsewhere and some less. Old Chub at $8 a can rubbed me the wrong way.
I'll definatly go back next time I visit.
