I received a homebrew kit for Christmas that my wife purchased here. They were very helpful with her purchase.
I attended a Saturday class on homebrew taught by the staff here. It was VERY helpful, informative and encouraging. They provided samples of their brews and even sent me home with two bottles of the exact kit I received for Christmas.
I hit a snag as I prepared to brew my first batch and they were friendly, understanding and helpful as they helped me work through it.
I highly recommend this store and will continue to purchase from them and seek their advice.

This store sells primarily wine making supplies, and has recently branched out into beer supplies. They sell bottles, carboys, malt extract in bulk and powdered forms, and a few basic canned varieties of malt extract. They have beer kits, liquid and dry yeast (they carry white labs, not wyeast) and some specialty grains. They have a variety of sugars, additives, spices, flavorings and French and American oak chips/cubs. As far as I could see they carry all the equipment you would need to start brewing extract beers except maybe a brewpot, but they might even have those as well. The clerk I interacted with said that they are continuing to expand the beer area as demand dictates, and that business had been pretty good, so I would expect that as time passes their selection will be better and better.
I really enjoy the atmosphere of this store, which is a large one-room rectangular building that is over 100 years old, and has and interesting history. It has a personal feel, and is connected to a garden store and animal feed store. There are also supplies for making other homemade items, such as fruit jam. The service was friendly (much more so than at other homebrew shops in CO springs) and helpful, and after chatting with the clerk and making my purchase he gave me two bottles of his homebrew for free, each of a different style. Pretty awesome!
I highly recommend this place for the majority of your ingredients, and from now on I will be buying everything I can from this shop and using other shops that have larger selections to supplement.
