Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #36 (Jan 2010):
Bright, shiny golden color, actively bubbly with a head to show for it. A mild spicy, fruity, minty edge of hop aroma meets a light biscuity grain for a pleasing nose. It might have a lighter body, which is fine for the style, but the malt goes above and beyond, at least up front. Dry with a big biscuity tone. Hops jump in the balance with a spicy herbal flavor and slightly sharp bitterness. A hint of shortbread and herbal hop in the dry finish.
Style-wise, Mayflower amped it up enough to bring it from potentially mundane to a killer session ale.

First time trying one of the Mayflower Beers. It came in a 12 variety pack. The pour was not very interesting. Very light color with a light head that didnt last too long.
There was really no distinguishable aroma in the nose. The taste was very light as was the aftertaste.
It was however very clean and crisp. From that point of view, I think it is a good summer beer and still above the large beer companies light ales

12oz. Longneck
A) Pours with a finger thick head. Clear, straw colored body. Semi-sticky lacing on the drink down.
S) Grainy. Subtle sweet floral aroma.
T) Sugary, grainy. Very light hint of hops in the finish -a slight peppery note.
M) Crisp. Light bodied. Dry finish.
O) A decent brew. A good alternative to other light beer options. I'd have another, although preferably in the heat of the summer.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped: IKG-G5731712. Sampled on November 18, 2012.
It pours straw yellow with about two inches of foamy, white head that eventually dissolves but never goes away.
The aroma is of pale malts and grain with a basic clean, crisp hop chaser.
The body is light and smooth.
The taste really reminds me of a German Pilsener with a slight hop bite with low bitterness lingering at the end. Easy to drink but nothing out of the ordinary. Still, a good one to have on a hot day.

A- Poured into a slim-pint glass with a slightly hazy golden-yellow body. Large, foamy white head forms with big bubbles and great retention. A surprisingly low amount of lace from the massive cap.
S- Laid back but not straining to pick up this aroma. It lends notes of light cracker malts, fruits like apple/white grape and a definite yeast bread presence.
T- On the lighter side and pretty straightforward. Has a clean but noticeable American Ale Yeast presence with notes of fruits, spice and bread. A distinct grain flavor comes from the cracked malts as well as some light sweets. Hops balance it out with floral and grassy herbal influence.
MF- Foamy body with a light consistency and a slightly creamy overall feel. Slight bitterness in the finish but not much at all. The carbonation is high and the foaminess almost takes away from the beer just a bit.
Easy-drinking American Blonde Ale that is fairly straightforward overall.
