Gift from the other Matt, thanks. Beer is yellow and has a slight haze, soft white head of small and medium bubbles, moderate carbonation and some lacing. Looks fine.
Aroma is pilsen, mildly sweet. Weak.
Beer is light in body and mildly sweet at leadoff. The overall feel of it is thin and the finish is wet. There is some graininess at the back but overall its a fine pilsner. It's fun to get a random beer that no one has heard of from some corner of the country. It's perfectly drinkable but then again, I'm a sucker for a light lager. Thanks Matt. I had two so I guess that means I'd have more than one.

"That Others May Live"
This beer is brewed for the USAF Pararescue squadron. The label depicts Airmen jumping from a cargo plane and a helicopter over the Florida beach.
A: Crystal clear, straw yellow with a big, fluffy white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing on the glass. The beer is filled with bubbles ascending vigorously toward the apex.
S: Pilsner malt and Saaz hops, with a hint of alcohol.
T: The beer tastes decent, and it's very easy to drink. There is a fair amount of complexity, given the style. The beer is primarily malt forward, with subtle sweetness. In the finish there is a slight hop bitterness to round things out. It's not amazing, but it ain't bad.
M: Smooth and buttery, with an ethanol note in the finish.
D: While in Cocoa Beach, there was a keg of this beer provided for us by a few members of the pararescue team. It was definitely easy to throw a few of these back after a long, hot day in the sun.
Thanks to AF pararescue for all that you do and for hooking us up with some local beer!

Bottle courtesy of Huhzubendah. Thanks, Matt! Served in a pilsner glass.
Initial pour was fairly hard and brought a four-finger white head that slowly receded with some nice, sticky white lacing. The initial nose brings in aromas of light malt that is slightly grainy. There's also a faint nutty presence coming along.
The taste really brings a lot of nutty characteristics--it reminds me a lot of Thai peanut sauce. It's certainly interesting, but not something I would say that I particularly care for. Some grain husk and lightly-sweet malt character fall in line behind the peanut character. The mouthfeel is dominated by the nuttiness. Outside of that, the body is fairly light with a good amount of carbonation. In the end, I really can't get past the peanut characteristics and did not particularly enjoy this. Still, always glad to try a new brew--thanks, Matt.
