Had this beer at the Fudpuckers in Destin, FL. Thought it was odd that the restaurant that helped to produce the beer didn't have it on tap...just in bottles. Bartender had no idea what the style of the beer was, and it wasn't indicated on the bottle.
Poured from bottle into plain pint glass. Only a slight head--around 1/4 inch--which dissipated quickly and left very little lacing behind. Nose of slight citrus, the hoppiness coming through much more than any malt, which was stifled.
This beer lost most of its points on mouthfeel. It struck me as being overly carbonated...so much so, in fact, that it disturbed my ability to properly taste the beer until it had been sitting for awhile. This seems to be a pale ale, with the hoppiness overriding most of the malt upon entrance. The finish includes just a slight bready malt taste, but leaves a lingering piney taste.
Overall, this beer is nothing special. I would have much rather had a Sam Adams--their only other non-American Style Lager domestic offering--as I partook in their gumbo.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of slight hops, yeast, and slight citrus. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of hops, slight sweet malt, hint of citrus, and yeast in the finish. Overall, an average pale ale at best, but an unexpected find at a chain restaurant.
