Great Beer while on vacation
This beer probably gets some extra points as every thing taste better on vacation.
Pours nice and the color is on the money for the style.
The taste is well balanced and surprised me that the taste was very on the traditional Belgium style Wit and not your normal American Wheat beers.
Nice flavors and the lime twist was very subtle and works well with a nice smell
I had low expectations when I bought this beer but was very surprised on how good good it was.. Well done!!

Found on tap throughout the Keys. Had it at the Island Grill on Islamorada. Paired with seared ahi dinner. Great beer for sea food.
Found the beer to be very drinkable. Excellent choice for after a hot day on the water. Poured cloudy yellow - definitely unfiltered. Head was nice and fluffy although an orange slice killed the head immediately. On the second round I skipped the orange (beer does not need it). Head had good retention. Has a very nice aroma - there's a lot going on. The orange and lime fought for my attention but turns out to be a nice touch, the lime that is. Just enough coriander creates a nice balance of spice and citrus. Good to the last drop - sediment and all.
Found the bottle in local supermarket. Very good from bottle exceptional from tap.

Wit brewed with Real Key-Lime
12oz->Saison Dupont glass
A ~ Quite an aggressive pour yielding a 1/4" of head
in an effervescent ring. Slightly murky orange with a brown tone.
S ~ Good punch of tangy yeast with the key-lime coming through rather nicely...hint of spice (coriander)
T ~ Very spirited, subtle flavors: A touch of key-lime, touch of pear, touch of sun-kissed grain/malt & a touch of spice all on a lovely soft body of mellow citrus-peel & yeast. Wonderful.
M ~ Nice balance! Malt does not attack the palette one bit & the addition of key lime was very refreshing & pleasantly tart.
D ~ Was extremely surprised by this one. Would not expect a beer representing Key West to be true to form. Extremely delicious, should be seeked out.
cheers!

Pours an apropriately cloudy straw yellow with a big fluffy white head.
The smell is full of spicy corriander, some fresh grain, a little must, and a nice hint of orange and key limes.
This is a fairly well-executed wit with classic spice and citrus flavors augmented by the key limes. I really like what the key limes do in this brew.
The feel is light and full. Very refreshing.
I came into this not really expecting much. The brewery has a reputation for "meh" beers and I thought this would be no exception. I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't find a single thing wrong with this beer. Overall it was solid, not mindblowing, but solid.

T: big taste of yeast and wheat, finish is bananas and cloves, slight sour lime aftertaste,
M: lively carbonation with a refreshing mouthfeel
O: a nice refreshing wheat beer, the flavor of the key lime complements the breast yeasty qualities of this beer

Pours a hazy golden wheat beer color with foamy white head that falls slow to almost nothing. Minimal lace.
Smells like a typical wheat. Hops and citrus.
Nice taste. Citrus, especially lime comes through at the end.
Rather full in the mouth with the right amount of carbonation.
Easy drinking beer. Much enjoyed.

I purchased this beer at a Total Wine shop in Fort Myers, Florida.
Appearance: Poured a pale copper color with a small, thick head.
Smell: Subtle fruit smell with minimal hops aroma.
Taste: Slight hops and mildly sweet. Also can taste the yeast. Goes very well with fish.
Mouthfeel: Full without being too thick.
Drinkability: Very subtle alcohol with a full taste makes this a great drinking beer.

Review from BeerAdvocate magazine Vol. II Issue IX:
Nothing wrong with having a gimmicky theme to a beer; and the whole Key West/key lime thing in a Belgian Wheat sounds terrific.
A good, healthy dose of white lacing rims the glass and sticks like a champ. Hazy pale golden yellow is par for the style. Pleasant aroma--a touch soapy from the spices with a hint of lime peel, though nothing new or out of place and it seems to fit very well. Very smooth with a tight crispness in the back end; moderate sized body. A light lime flavor throughout, coriander and orange peel are very flavorful, faintly soapy, but the modest hop bitterness and flavor cleans that up. A slight bready tone, clean and a little doughy but light as well. Finishes with a citric--both orange and lime--and earthy mineral twang with some orange sweetness and dry malt, making for an interesting aftertaste.
This beer works! Great balance between hops, malt and spicing, as well as the lime. Easy to drink, though one bottle was good enough.

I've had this brew a few times, today is the first time I am going to review it from my notes. This beer is light yellow with some haziness. The smell is always interesting, some yeast and grassiness and lime. The flavor is nice an wheaty at the front with some typical spice from a witibier then the lime kick. This is a ligh fizzy beer perfect for summer drinking brings out the Florida flavors.

The pour, was lemon-yellow, white head fading into yellowish, fine-textured lacing. Matched the decor in my Fort Myers hotel quite nicely.
I detect a lot of citrus and faint whisps of coriander and other spices, but the aroma isn't particularly strong. Now, for the flavor - I am always on the lookout for a well-balanced, lime-themed craft beer; I prayed that this was no craft Bud Light Lime nonsense.
The first few sips seemed to suggest my worst fears - I alluded to a mixture of 2/3 complex witbier diluted with a 1/3 portion of the previously mentioned Bud atrocity. But this was too quick and judgmental a conclusion, and further into the bottle, I appreciate the witbier for what it is. The lime is about as bold as my personal taste allows, which is excellent by me; but the qualities of the witbier, and a smooth finish, with citrus peel and a mild hop bite, generates a balance that is better than expected. The sensation is complex even if the palate can't seem to name more than the few dominant flavors.
Lime is a worthy ingredient in beer; the nature and tartness of the flavor makes it challenging to balance against beer's traditional ingredients. Yet, this does so in a novel and refreshing way - I was pleasantly surprised.

Pours a hazy grapefruit color with a proportional head. White foam top drops too quickly for me leaving just a thin film. No lace at all though.
Smell is nicely malty with a nice mix of citrus and spices balancing it.
Taste is also well-balanced with malt, spice, citrus and a faint hop note.
A nice warming in the throat from this medium-full bodied brew. Effervescence is a bit constrained for the style. A well constructed, consistent beer. Good stuff. I could drink this a lot.

A- pale yellow straw with a hazy body, and a white cap on top.
S- belgian spices coming through, coriander specifically. The lime is the pleasant twist here, where usually you would expect orange.
T- Bready and yeasty, with coriander and light orange. The lime adds a unique sour and tart profile.
O- Really nice surpise here. Every wit is the same these days, and I like them so it's fine. But a tarter version was a great change of pace.

A: Straw hazy yellow pour with a tiny head of white dusting
S: Great smell of belgian wit yeast , spices of coriander, orange peel, and tangerine.
T: Just as the aroma implies, this is a nice belgian wit with some coriander spicing. Mid body there is a bit of a chalky taste mixing with noble hops that are pretty well represented.
M: A light to medium light body with mild carbonation.
O: An enjoyable witbier, glad to have tried it.

pour is a light golden yellow with a tight white head. The nose has a ton of yeasty spice, light pepper, coriander, light lemon. Not quite as dusty and spicy as the nose, a bit more lemony and sweet. Still, strong balance and not sugary. Dry finish and strong carbonation, lightly champagne esq. The strong zest and yeast characteristic seem to slightly mute the overall flavor but still a nice refreshing beer.

"Belgian-Style Wheat Ale brewed with spices and key lime."
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a touch of orange that produces a thin white head. The aroma is wheat with some orange and coriander and other spices with a touch of lime and yeast. The taste is very nice with some wheat and spices and a touch of lime in the finish. Overall, Southernmost Wheat is a very tasty Witbier that has an interesting local twist to the style that is definitely worth a try. Recommended.

Now this seems like a good idea. Key lime and witbier, sounds good to me.
A - Pours a cloudy yellow gold. Pleased to see some sediment left behind in the bottle, I was afraid this would be a bland, filtered American Pale Wheat. Not enough head and retention for a witbier, though.
S - Smells like a good American take on witbier, spicy with orange peel dominating. To me, smells like a White Rascal.
T - Taste is crisp and spicy. Lots of coriander and pepper. I think I can pick out some lime in the finish, but it doesn't beat you over the head. This one seems to be more about the spice than the fruit. Bitter from the spice, and actually a little bit of hop too. The bottle says Cascades were used; interesting choice of hop for a witbier. More of a wheat backbone becomes noticeable as it warms. Tasty, interesting take on witbier.
F - Some prickly carbonation, but that's par for the course. Light-bodied.
D - I don't know what the ABV is, but I can't feel it in the slightest, so it must be pretty low. Good summer beer. I wish I could actually get this on tap somewhere in Key West. I think I want to try serving it with a Key lime in order to bring out more of the lime. Still, good idea and effort from the Florida Beer Co.

a- very hazy orange/tan with a small head, looks sorta dirty
s- light wheat and lime scent with maybe a touch of coriander
t- just the right amount of that tart wheat taste with hints of coriander and bitter orange and a nice kick of lime that i find to be a refreshing alternative to the usual orange dominated wheats, went very well with my clam chowder
m- medium-light mouthfeel, you can feel the yeast
d- nice refreshing beer that pairs well with seafood and hot florida nights, more than worth the 15 dollar case i got on sale at the brewery

This beer is a solid belgian wheat beer based out of Florida. It has a distinctive citrus smell and taste, though more lime than lemon/orange. The mouthfeel is enjoyable, but not great. All in all, it's a good beer for hanging out in South Florida and I would get it again.

Appearance - Pours a very hazy, pale yellow-golden color with barely any head. It fizzes very loud and dissipates instantly. No lacing is present..
Smell - Mostly consists of lime and clove.
Taste - Strong flavors of lime and citrus, along with clove, coriander, orange zest, wheat, and quite malty.
Mouthfeel - Light body with high carbonation.
Overall - This is a very refreshing and good tasting beer.. Quite acidic so watch out if you're the type to get heartburn.

A big thanks to Miamichaels for this extra.
A- This beer pours a cloudy, hazy golden color with a little white puffy head.
S- The smell is of musty wheat and citrus, primarily lime.
T- It has a real bready, wheatlike taste upfront, but finishes with a nice lime bitter aftertaste.
M- It has a medium mouthfeel with a decent amount of carbonation.
This was a decent beer from a brewery I had never heard of before. I probably wouldn't seek this out in the future, but it was nice to try this once.

Poured in weizen glass, chilled
A: cloudy dark yellow with a one-finger head that melts down into microbubbles--attractive
S: Belgian yeasts (with pear) dominate
T: Decent, benign Belgian wheat; not complex and not flavorful, but still appealing in the pear and apple flavors that exist.
A wheat-beer hater would not know this is a wheat beer--kudos!

Key West Southernmost Wheat pours yellow in color with a white head from a brown twelve ounce bottle that has a label with the marker in Key West that indicates the southernmost point in the United States pictured. The aroma is a little bit of citrus and wheat. The flavor is very wheaty, there is a bit of coriander and key lime is definitely present. The key lime is a nice twist on the citrus component of wit beer and it works pretty well. Very light, easy drinker. Sampled at the brewery tap room.

12 oz. brown bottle - bought as a single recommended to me by store owner
A - Cloudy straw yellow color with a 1 finger thick bright white head that quickly dissipates to small foam on top and around glass
S - soft lime aroma, corriander, citrus, wheaty aroma, spiciness
T - Beligian spice with citrus lime and orange peel taste pretty good to me. Its very light on the hops (bottle says it has cascade and first gold hops)
M&D - very light body and light mouthfeel makes it very drinkable and very refreshing. I thought it was a pretty good Witbier and i was a little shocked that this one tasted as well as it did.
