The color is orange to amber in the vein of a Key West sunset. I have no idea if this was intentional but they emulated the colors of a Florida horizon. The head was pretty thick but it collared quickly.
The scent was a touch citrusy but had weak malt aromas.
The taste was easy and refreshing and beats many of the adjunct thirst quenching, beach beers. I taste roasted malts and grains with a lemony softness. There's a bit of a roasted or toasted quality but it is mixed or lost in an ease of drink.
I found this to be a very good beach beer, different than so many others and just different enough to drink again.

Medium bodied amber with a citrus taste and aroma. Pour is filtered with a offwhire color head.
Good session beer
Enjoyed this beer very much
Being fromMelbourn, it's very nice to have a fair local beer which is becoming more available throughout Florida.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Decent reddish amber color with a thick head and a good deal of lacing. But then it goes downhill.
Aroma is very grainy and malty and the taste is the same, although also with an unpleasant metallic taste. Carbonation is suitable for style.
Overall an average beer. Better than the mass produced junk filling out the rest of the store's freezer, it that's about it.

Beer of the Conch Republic: an American Amber Ale with 2-row and caramel malts and First Gold, Chinook, and Mount Hood hops. Pours a dark amber with a thin white head. Caramel and sweet corn flakes under a fresh floral grass aroma. A sweet caramel flavor dominates backed by floral grassy hops and corn taste. Seems too carbonated. Kind of meh, a below average amber ale.
