When did Coors Light rename itself Landshark Lager?
Awful.
I need to fill this up to reach the minimum so I'll just say.
When did Coors Light rename itself Landshark Lager?
Awful.
Absolutely awful.
It might as well be coors mixed with half club soda. So gross.

Served in a 22oz glass on-tap.
Appearance - Light yellow, little head, weak lacing. Slightly darker than the Miller Lite that was poured and given to the beautiful woman next to me.
Smell - Very weak. Similar to the BMCs but not as offensive.
Taste - A notch above your traditional adjuncts. Again, non offensive.
Mouthfeel - There seems to be a pattern here. Similar to BMCs but better.
Overall - Would not seek out, but would have again if the establishment did not provide a better choice.

On tap in a pint glass. I've drank many of these, time for a review.
A- not bad. A light straw color with a big head thanks to a nice pour. There was a little lacing as well.
S- there is a slightly sweet malt aroma. Nothing outstanding.
T-Not bad at all. Yes, the corn has presence but it has a decent maltiness to it and a light creamy finish.
M- light and very refreshing.
O-Bud with a little flavor and no headache, not bad for an AAL. What is bad is that it is way overpriced for what it is. Sixes of this go for about as much as some crafters. I guess there are a lot of licensing fees built into the number when I consider the Buffett empire. Oh, well.

Came in a pint glass a transparent yellow with a white head.
Didn't really have any smell.
It tasted very light, typical American lager, sweet and corny. A slight step up from some of the more famous brands.
Very aggressively carbonated.
Overall the bar I was in didn't have much choice and I'll take it over bud/bud light any day.

Had on draft at Joe's Crab Shack.
A : Clear crystal yellow, almost the same as Corona. Finger width head that leaves behind some spotty lacing.
S : Slight grains and hops along with the usual adjuncts and a bit of corny sweetness.
T : Sweet malts and ever so slight hops. Slight grain.
M : Very light and crisp, moderate carbonation.
D : Excellent.

Straw colored with a fading head, no lacing and lots and lots of bubbles.
Smell is of grain, corn, slight malt and maybe some hops.
Taste is grassy and corny with not a ton of flavor. Goes down nicely with light body and high carbonation. Very refreshing lager.
A decent adjunct that is great for tailgating or parties, but bad for when you wan to enjoy a well crafted beer. Nothing offensive about it but there just isn't much there.

Pint glass with lime.
A: pale straw with no head. Not too bad for the beach. Persistent bubbling.
S: faint corn and citrus. No hops.
T: tastes like some kind of very watery corn lime soda. No hops, very little malt. Pretty refreshing on the beach but does it need to be so alcoholic ?
M: pretty drinkable in same way as ginger ale.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color with a cap of white head. It settles quickly though.
I feel redundant when I review beers like this but they aren’t much different I guess. The aroma is light and grainy with a touch of sweetness in the end. Grainy and sweet with a little bit of must on the pallet. Seems to have a bit of a metallic finish here.
The body is light with lively carbonation. Overall this one is off putting. Seems to have some flavors that just don’t belong.

A middle of the road, light lemon yellow, blah lager with a decent head. Citrusy, crisp, will quench a thirst, but so does Gatorade; MUST DRINK ICE COLD ! When it warms up it transforms into a witches brew of tinny metallic flavors.
Since I need 20 more characters for this review, do not insult Jimmy Buffet by playing "Margaritaville" when trying this!

The taste is fine and I could imagine sipping this all day on the beach. I would for sure get this over a Corona just to be different. I am a big fan of the look and feel of this beer. There wasn't too much head or retention and it looks about the same as a Corona or other macro brews.

White head disapears immediately. Light straw in color. Boring!
No aroma! None! My girlfriend says it smells like Coors Light.
Does this have taste? Grain, cereal and very light hops when I really search for some flavor.
Light body, medium carbonation, a little dry.
Your typical macro tasting lager. No taste, no smell, nothing special at all. I guess, no smell is better than a horrible smelling beer, the same goes for taste. This is a WEAK lawnmower beer. Drink water.

Pours a clear yellow color with a creamy 1 finger white head that faded and left decent spotty lacing; it looked like a fresh urine sample.
Smells of sweet malt, light caramel, corn, grass, light floral hops and grains; smells like a typical macro brew.
Tastes like it smells, with sweet malt, light caramel, corn, grass, light floral hops and grains; basically it's a lager and just OK.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp, with a light body, light carbonation and good drinkability; a light a refreshing beer that basically has no flavor. Pass on this one as it's just plain boring.

outta school for the weekend thought id stop and grab some fish tacos. oh and you have beer? a crappy selection with one ive never tried? alright fine.
a - light piss like color (not a good start...) slightly tan? a decent amount of head but a pretty thin consistancy.
s - sweeter malts. stanky like a budweiser (nothing like a fresh hop. lighter and whimpier.
t - a little like a red stripe. more earthy natural notes. not a very clean finish. fades from in your face to a slightly malty aftertaste. low medium carbonation level.
m - no flavor just a quick rush of carbonation. maybe its the hot sauce from the tacos but theres really not much there.
o - meh. ill still stick with the red stripe if there isnt really any other options.

So, I'm on vacation in Key West and I decide to take the Fury Ultimate Adventure with my kids (snorkling, para-sailing, jet skiing, etc.) and at the end of the day is an all you can drink fest. E&J Gallo wine and spritzers, bud light and...Landshark. So I imbibed. It was obviously a "session", so what the hell. It was 80 degrees, sunshine like you dream about, salt air, ocean breeze and cold beer. Would I have picked it? No, but the guy kept coming around with the pitcher as I laid out on the catamaran deck and he quickly became the 5th most favorite person in my life (next to my kids, my girl and the hot 20-something blond sunning next to me)

Light looking beer. Had this with dinner at cheeseburger in paradise. This went well with dinner. Slight foam, goes down smooth. Could really drink several of these. No bad aftertaste. Not filling. I hope they come out with possibly darker versions of this beer or different variations. A little more hoppy taste would be good.

Had this beer on tap at the AT&T Center in San Antonio
A: Pale color with a very thin head. No lacing and decent carbonation.
S: Has the lager smell. Pretty much it
T: The taste is very light. Malty to start but with a clean finish. Nothing on the taste but it is smooth.
Overall this is a below average beer. I thought the taste was lacking in every aspect. Other than being a drinkable beer not much here.

Was at a restaurant without any beer selection, so this was the only new beer to try. This looks like the typical yellow fizzy lager. Head dies down fairly quickly, no lacing at all. Bland macro lager smell and flavour. Carbonation was so high, which made this hard to drink. I'll never have again.

I've had two of these under probably the best possible circumstances. Bottled during a trip to the Eastern Shore back in August, and then more recently at the new Meadowlands for the Jets and Vikings Monday Night Football game.
That said, environment can only help so much. The smell might actually be a smell - I can't tell. But it's an adjunct - probably corn. The appearance is ... a bit pissy. But the taste isn't completely terrible. I actually think that, for the style, this one does well. Certainly beats Corona. There's a good carbonation to it also, so even though it's light-bodied it feels medium in the mouth.
In the situations that I drank it, it was drinkable. I can't say this is one that I'd come back to, but if forced to choose between adjunct lagers - one could do worse.

Looks like every other adjunct ever -- straw color, thin white head. Smells like nothing, virtually no smell -- maybe a little corn or a little rice (some sort of adjunct.) Tastes like corn with a little sweet malt with a hop dry finish. Mouthfeel is awfully thin (like most in its class.) Drinkability is a complete joke. Another beer for the people lost in the abyss (not the beer) of mass market beer.

took the kids out to dinner at hooters tonight. now normally i do not order beers when i am there, but this new bottom of the barrel project actually has me ordering things at these places now. three new ones to tick off on the tap lines tonight. served cold in a frosty mug, this one was consumed on 08/21/2010.
the last one of the night for me, i decided to go crazy. so i order this one up and it arrives at the table looking somewhat nice. a nice soo light golden color with a nice two finger head of white foam, hmm. decent i have to say.
but then i smelled it. i am not sure where this beer went, there was little to no aroma. light and i mean light corn and some form of fake citrusy flavor, again not really sure what is going on here. clean, somewhat flat and just rather dull the flavors just never really comes out for me in anyway. it leaves as quickly as it arrives an i never looked back from this one.
overall not really sure what just happened. soo light, it was almost mistaken for water and i should have ordered a tea to be honest.

A- typical adjunct corn yellow
S- not too bad, slight presence of corn, but still way better than other beers in its class.
T- can best be described as a Corona clone. But for some reason i do prefer this one.
M- Thin and carbonated. probably the worst dimension to this so-so beer.
D- easy to drink, especially if you're more a 'strong-beer' drinker. At a BBQ or a get together, i would easily reach for this one in the cooler. not too bad, it is what it is.

I had this on tap at the "Taste of Chicago" this year. The only choices were Bud, Miller, and Landshark, and at $5.50 a glass (plastic cup actually), I didn't want to spend that on a Budr or a Miller. so I went with the Landshark. Little did I know there wouldn't be that much difference between the three.
The beer was a crystal clear golden/yellow color that didn't make anything but a thin white rim for a head and even that disappeared in under a minute. No lacing.
The smell was pretty typical macro lager - faint malt and corn and even fainter hops.
The only thing I picked up in the taste that I didn't notice in the smell was a bit of lemon flavor. Other than that it tasted like standard macro lager. The malt and corn gave it some sweetness and the citrus hops are used to give it some balance. Not that great but not undrinkable either.
The mouthfeel was thin and watery and because it had only a moderate amount of carbonation, it wasn't all that crisp or refreshing either.
It's plenty drinkable with no foul tastes and a low alcohol content, but I definitely won't be seeking this one out again.

A- Your typical lager, golden straw in color
S- Smelled metallic and not very nice. Mentioned this to the server, didn't get much of a response
T- Tasted just as metallic as it smelled. Not pleasant at all
M- A little thin and watery
D- Where I drank it, not very.
I was a little dissapointed in the beer, but that could have easily just been the location at which I had it. I am giving it a low score for now, maybe in the future I wil give it another look.

I've never had this beer before, but i figured Margaritaville would be a good place to try it as an after dinner round of drinks.
It comes in a tall plastic cup, with just a thin cap of white foam atop a pale gold color. It looks very highly carbonated.
The aroma is not very good, but it's from the tap so at least it's not skunked from the clear bottle. It has some hay, grain, uncooked corn....not anything worth mentioning. Just stick a lime in the cup or bottle to cover this up.
The taste reminded me of a watered down bud or corona. Watery and plain up front, with an adjunct filled finish that includes corn and corn flakes, with a lingering aftertaste.
The mouthfeel is overcarbonated, thin, and lifeless. The high carbonation hurts the drinkability. After a few hesitant sips, I realized I had to choke some of this down quick and it wasn't fun. Stick a lime in here and it's tolerable, but I would rather have something else.

On Tap at Sticky Wickett - it was FREE
L: Bright golden color, medium head with decent retention (surprisingly), and little lacing (no surprise)
S: Hint of malt and hops
T: Slightly sweet, grainy, mild hops. Bland
M: Light body, medium carbonation
D: There is not much flavor, so they could be pounded rather easily, but I prefer a LOT more flavor in my beer
Overall Impression: Not a fan of Jimmy Boofay's music or his version of Corona. I've had worse though. It's still better than Shit, and Shit Lite, but not much.
