A – Pale yellow color with a rocky 1 finger white head. Head recedes quickly and leaves a nice white ring of bubbles around the glass.

S – Light citrus from the hops a very minimal light malt.

T – Light hoppy flavor, nothing over powering.

M – Light bodied beer. Carbonation was a little on the light side.

O – My buddy loves Fegleys and I got this bottle from him. I was happy to give it a try but there a couple other pale ales that I would rather buy on a regular basis.

A: Princeton orange coloring, slight haze with a moderately paced display of micro-bubbles. The head is 1 inch, oat colored, milky-frothy in texture, with a moderately rate of retention. A low visual appeal of lacing.

S: Dry orange and pine for aroma, flowery, citrus and grapefruit. Herbaceous notes of parsely, dry celery, with a pretty good show of hops for a pale.

T: Citrusy grapefruit with dry oranges, flowery hops with some toasted sweet speciality grains. A bit of pine, spicy herbaceous note, piney-alcohol dry fade. Nice maltiness, good depth adding substance and backbone.

M: Spicy mouthful, herbaceous grapefruit, light-medium body, decent amount of carbonation presence with a dry hoppy fade of flowery pine and grapefruit.

O: Good rate of drinkability, spicy herbaceous, dry show of west coast hops and good malt support for balance. Likeable.

A: This poured a clear gold with moderate white head.
S: It smelled like lemongrass with some copper and fresh wheat
T: It tasted like copper and lemon hops, with some honey and fresh wheat. It had a clean and bitter aftertaste.
M: It was watery with moderate carbonation. Decent body.
D: This was a nice pale ale with ok scent, but great taste on par with many IPAs. The body was good with a mellow finish, so it was easy to drink. Not ground breaking, but a solid and enjoyable brew.

Appearance - orange hazy color. No head whatsoever on this beer.

Smell - citrusy. Smells like a mix of oranges and grapefruits. Actually smells quite nice.

Taste - unfortunately it really just does not live up to the smell, or any of the other average pale ales on the market.

Mouthfeel - average

Overall - I really don't think I would drink this again, nor would I recommend it to friends

Had a pint at the Allentown location. Appeared clear gold with a short white head. You know, there's no massive hops or big kick, but this is fine example of a sessionable pale ale. The clean citrus spice has a crisp bite and stands out over the mild caramel malts. This beer leans to the hops, but the brewery calls this "West Cost style" and it fits the bill.

Finally got around to trying this since it was available via the single bottle at Totowa. This was around $15 for a six-pack and I thought that was overpriced, unless this was the best APA that I've ever had. This wasn't even close to that and after finishing off the contents inside the bottle, this was relatively forgettable since nothing in particular stood out about it.

The pour to this was blonde with a nice head and a moderate amount of lacing. Not much of an aroma to this as there was just a bit of pine and lemon zest. Light versions of those notes could be found in the mouthfeel with some pepper underneath it and a bit of honey in the body of the beer. This wasn't light but it went down a lot easier than most other APA's that I've had. Not a sign of dry-hopping here as this had quite the "wet" aftertaste, with only a hint of bitterness that faded quickly.

APA's don't get more easygoing than this is if you're looking for a few to down, this one's for you. While the price was a bit too steep, this would be worth enjoying during the summer if it was to ever go on sale. It's too light for my taste but in its own, it's a decent brew for the season.

Pours a coppery orange hue with a medium lasting off-white head with some nice lacing. Aroma and Taste of citrus floral hops, some good citrus and fruity notes, with some biscuit malt. A good medium body, slightly dry crisp mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Finish is citrus floral hops, citrus fruity notes, ending is a slightly sweet dry hops flavor. Overall a good solid session brew

Draft at The Pour House in Westmont, NJ.

Pours a clear light golden orange color with yellowish hues and half finger white head that immediately settles into a lasting ring.  Streaks of lacing left behind.

Slightly earthy aroma with a good balance of perfumy citrus fruit and pale makt.  Subtle lemon rind and pineapple notes along with faint grassy pine needle, biscuit and graham cracker.

On the fuller end of medium bodied with a crisp hop bite that provides a decent amount of dry bitterness which is countered by sweet fruit and pale malts.  The grassy pine and dry bitterness are quickly countered by sweet citrus and tropical fruit flavor.  Hints of orange and lemon peel as well as some pineapple and mango. This is countered by bready yeast, biscuity malt and caramel.  Well balanced and very quaffable.  More complex then expected.  Nice surprise.

Pours a cloudy pale orange-straw color that is more reminiscent of a kolsch or a pils than an APA. At least two fingers of fluffy head illustrate that this baby's live -- there is some good head retention as well. The nose is very mild - couldn't discern much. The body is light, but the hops certainly poke through at times, especially on the finish. There also appears to be a touch of pepper on the finish which is quite pleasant.
