Finishing off the last few remaining pumpkin beers in my fridge. What a great beer time of year, but alas, it's time to move on and finish the season strong.

Poured into a Chimay glass. Mostly clear reddish-orange color with almost no head and very fine bubbles every now and then. Very sour smell- the most prevelant scent was a sour fruit (cherry?) with hints of pumpkin and spices. Smelled like a fermented pumpkin pie. Tasted strongly of pumpkin, cinnamon and honey, and the sour smell was mirrored in the taste as well. I tend to be a fan of sour tastes in beer, so this was right up my alley. Medium-bodied in mouthfeel with a slight zip of natural carbonation, but nothing too bubbly.

Overall, I enjoyed this one. It's not my favorite pumpkin beer, but it's a dang fine one and I will seek out another 6-pack next year. Definitely worth a try!

Pours a dark amber color with about one finger of white fluffy head that quickly disappears.

The scent is of a variety of spices; most notable are nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Alcohol is also very noticeable.

The taste is dominant of spices also, cinnamon and nutmeg mainly with some pumpkin flavor also. Again alcohol is very noticeable.

Medium body, a bit of a chewy feel, moderate carbonation

This was one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had. The high alcohol content made it a little unbalanced but I still enjoyed it.

A: Foamy hed, with decent lacing. Lots of lacing. The color could be more inviting tho; lager.

S: Pumpkin pie and spices. Clove and cinnamon. Squashy. Vanilla. Raw pumpkin....pumpkin rind.

T: Yummy. NOT PUMPKIN PIE; which is nice. A malty, delicious brew with hints of cinnamon, clove and raw pumpkin. Clove finishes.

M: Chewy, and full bodied. A really nice coat on the tongue! Really nice!

O: This is a refreshing take on pumkin beers. NOT PUMPKIN PIE, BUT JUST PUMPKIN. Great job Allentown. I love PA breweries!!!

Pours a dark copper body beneath the ruby hues and tan head that leaves only a thin lacing around the glass.

Generous aromas of pumpkin and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg float from the glass.

The flavor also offers pumpkin flavors with pleasant fall spices but the pumpkin in the flavor is more sweet pumpkin meat than anything else. There are also some woody stem and toasted malt notes.

Medium in both body and carbonation with a spicy pumpkin finish.

This is a pretty nice pumpkin ale with plenty of traditional characteristics and seemingly well balanced.
