Poured at Oakshire beer dinner at Wildwood PDX, paired with Hawaiian Tombo Tuna Carpaccio appetizer 10.21.11. Brewed as 1st Anniversary brew for 16 Tons Eugene.

Light gold clear body, many streams of rising bubbles, a half finger of white head, quick dissipation with significant lacing. Decent dose of coriander with lemony notes balanced by Brett, not the usual strain, floral hops. Taste mirrors nose, though the coriander notes play a minor role, the brett (not the usual strain) dried out the taste, provided a wee bit of funk, floral notes, pretty hoppy for a saison. Mouthfeel on the light side of medium, good effervescence, really dry finish. This was an interesting one off, paired well with the tuna, but the Brett may have undercut the nice fruity notes and inhibited drinkability.
