On tap at By the Bottle tasting.
The beer pours a hazy golden color with a small, lingering head.
The smell is initially a strong brown sugar/caramel with a hint of malt.
The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. It has a definite flavor of malt and honey, made stronger by the aging. Alcohol is noticeable, but not unwelcome. Definitely easy to drink, but the alcohol prevents it from being a great session.

On tap at Bailey's during their killer beer fest.
The beer pours a hazy honey color with very good head retention and lacing. On the nose I get some honey and brown sugar, with a touch of bees wax. Flavors replicate the nose, but with a touch/hint of hoppy bitterness and vanilla in the finish. The beer is moderately sweet, with a long smooth finish. Alcohol is noticeable, but is not intrusive or obtrusive. Still, I can't see myself drinking more then one of these at a sitting. Nevertheless, this was another very nice beer I was able to sample during this festival/event. Impressive.
The menu at Bailey's lists this as a Belgian inspired strong ale.
