Draft to snifter
@Woodshop classix
App- A very dark brown, like a dark chocolate melted. About an 1/8” of ring bubbles around the edges. I think it was a bit cold so no cling and no lace was present.
Smell- A very nice blend of aromatics on the nose. Starts just out a bit roasty and warms up with a nice layer of chocolate, oak, and some vanilla.
Taste- When you first take a sip its a bit boozy and unbalanced. Warming creates a little smooth chocolate with a lot of roast to back it up. It's a nice big stout but seeming too roasty with more than the chocolate to balance.
Mouth- Medium bodied and medium carbonation. A cold boozy roast with only a touch of oak behind it.
Drink- This one was a big let down of the day. Just an average barrel aged stout with a lack of balance and smoothness to it.

On tap at Stone Oakquinox 2011 in a snifter.
A: Brownish black with a creamy light brown head. Good retention and lots of lacing.
S: Complex nose. Malt is moderately roasted. Notes of coconut, smoke, oak, bourbon, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Excellent. Very expressive.
T: An increase in roast here, with a strong dark chocolate presence and a touch or char. Moderate oak presence. Bourbon is well integrated. Dash of coconut.
M: Full body with moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky, chewy, and creamy.
Overall: Well done. Recommended.

A: The pour is almost black with a finger of tan head sitting on top.
S: Still quite roasty with lots of bourbon and oak aromas, and some licorice, coming into play. Fairly strong on the licorice notes and a bit of molasses and dark toffee providing sweetness.
T: Heavier on the bourbon flavor with a subtle vanilla flavor. Decently oaky with some roasted malt and ash. Molasses, licorice, and toffee lend a slight sugary quality.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Significantly better than the regular version I tried previously, but not great by any means.
