Drank from my Chimay chalice
A - Pours a slightly hazy golden colour witha thick white head that retains well and laces.
S - Classic phenols of spice, grain and small citrus
T - Nice malty grains up front with spice and citrus the alcohol is well hidden thei finish is long and subtle.
M - Medium body and low carbonation leads to a very smooth drop
O - A Tripel from left field in the same vein as a Chimay White. Full bodied, bold and has plenty on offer. Hard to improve this beer. I had it with some Edam cheese and it went very well with it.

Bottle: Poured a hazy and cloudy golden color ale with large foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of peppery yeast with notes Belgian malt and light alcohol ester. Taste is bit harsh with strong notes of peppery yeast and a big Belgian malt backbone. Full body with limited filtration and good carbonation with some alcohol apparent. While this was well brewed I thought the yeast provides too much spice character for the style.
