Poured into my Erdinger weizen glass.

A: Pours a golden, amber-yellow with a reddish hue and a nice fluffy two-finger head of white foam which settles to some rocky foam and nice lacing.

S: Smells sweet and a little fruity. There are some spicy notes from the hops, but nothing too overbearing.

T: Interesting concoction of fruity, bitter hops and sweet tasting grainy malts. An interesting infused berry tone comes through in the finish, perhaps cran- or straw-, but the varying types and degrees of hops are thrice-noted.

M: Mouthfeel is is light bodied and a little creamy. Slight sting from the hops, but mellowed nicely by malts.

D: Since the ABV is honest and low enough, and since this brew really does quite good, I could see drinking this English Ale on a regular basis.

I was impressed by this English brewery's Hobgoblin brown ale, and their Wychcraft pale ale is a very nice follow up. I'd liek to try and find more styles from this great International brewery.

500ml bottle poured into pint glass 1/4/13

A slightly hazy darker shade of yellow with plenty of tiny bubbles throughout that feed a tight thick film not quite a pinky deep, retains well and leaves a couple partial rings

S lots of soft caramels, herbal and slightly floral hops, some cereal and cream corn perhaps

T hops have a little spice to them and some fruity notes with some sweet malt, mimics the nose fairly well other then that

M a little slick after the fact with more body then one would expect from a small beer, good carbonation with the pin-prick bubbles creaming it up nicely, spicy finish lingers

O I didn't mind this one and its making me think of Spring, not a bad version of the style

I'm trying to rate to style and if I was leaning more towards personal preference today it would score lower because I'd get board. That being said they made what they were attempting to make fairly well.

A- pours c,ear and golden with a small creamy white head, reduces quickly leaving a small layer with some lace.

S- clean and grainy, with just a hint if herbal hop

T- grainy malt withi some herbal hop, similar to the smell. Earthy notes, finishes clean and dry with a herbal hop linger

M- light body, medium carbonation, smooth finish

O- easy drinking English ale, more flavor than some others that ice tried if the same style.
